Dairy Queen Store — Restaurant in Brighton

Don’t even go here, unless you want melted ice cream. Pretty much chocolate milk.. Only one person in front of me and I got my ice cream melted.. he didn’t even tip it upside down, because he knew it would drop all out of the cup… and then he shut the window, and acted like it wasn’t his problem. I didn’t even want to ask for another after seeing that. The guy handed it to me, dripping..didn’t tip it.. I was nice and patient, mind you I’m 6 months pregnant and all I wanted was this delicious Oreo blizzard for two days straight.. I’m hormonal and didn’t want to make an big deal out of it, but I’m so upset. I finally got it and I got chocolate milk.. with Oreos floating in it.. the guy knew and didn’t care. It wasn’t busy and I felt like I just threw away money. Doesn’t even deserve a star. I’m so disappointed.. next time I’ll go to the one in Hamburg as they always make sure it’s solid and they tip it to show you. Ruined my whole day and I’ll never go...

We had a free blizzard coupon we were intending to use. We specifically said we had it when we ordered. When we got to the window, the employee said they don’t have a scanner to scan codes. We asked if there was another way to use it. She didn’t respond and closed the window. The manager then came and said that they don’t do any mobile rewards at all. That would have been excellent to know when we SPECIFICALLY MENTIONED it before ordering. We then asked if we could mobile order and use the coupon that way. The manager told us in a very uninterested tone that they do not do mobile ordering either. He then proceeded to tell us, in the exact words I’m sharing, to “pay for it or skip it”. Last week my husband retired after 22 years of military service. His mother who lives in another state ordered an ice cream cake for him (they are one of his favorite desserts) for our small retirement celebration. She texted me when it was ready for pickup. I arrived to pick it up only to find out Brighton didn't have any cake under my name. I called her to find out what was happening, and it turned out she had ordered it from the wrong Dairy Queen. She ordered it at one in Wisconsin! The staff in Brighton came to the rescue, found and decorated a cake for my husband, and then wouldn't even let me pay for it! Their generosity meant my husband got his ice cream cake and we were cared for at an important moment in our lives. Thanks for your support of service members...
