The morning of November 27th 2020 at approximately 10:30am. We went in to get our food and my daughter who cannot eat bread ordered chicken breast with bacon and cheese. 1st off they didn't know what to do with an order with no bread. Little side note we have never had issues when ordering like this from subway. To top it all off the lady in there was so incredibly rude and was putting the chicken in one of the cookie bags and then putting the cheese in a separate bag. My daughter kindly asked her to put it in a salad container so she could have some toppings. She then told us I will have to charge you for a whole sandwich. We replied yes that is fine we always pay full price. She then slammed the plastic container on the counter and threw the chicken in the bowl and the chicken. My daughter asked her if she always made people's food like that. She then said well you guys could have been more specific about what you wanted and my daughter's reply was we were trying. At this time we left our food and walked out. I hope this lady makes some changes to her attitude or she will run off some good customers. 2020 has been hard enough and to go into a public business and get horrible service does not help matters. Read moreSubway is not my favorite sandwich place, but this location deserves a shout out. Due to my own failure to plan, I found myself with a customer visit to which I was supposed to bring lunch for 10 people. It was 7:30am, and lunch was at 11:00! Most of the places I checked didn't even open until the time I was supposed to be arriving with lunch. The website showed that the subway locations opened at 8:30. I started calling around at 7:30, hoping to get lucky. No answers, until I dialed the number for the Prairie Crossing store. Two rings later, I very nice lady answered, and advised me that the store didn't open for another hour. I briefly explained my situation, and she advised that their delivery truck was showing up any minute and would need to be offloaded. I asked if there was another nearby Subway she could recommend, and she said she would take care of me. She took my order for (10) complete boxed lunches before the store was even open, and had them all ready to go prior to our arrival at 10:15. Read moreExtremely poor customer service. I walked in specifically for the 3 for $18 deal that I have purchased on multiple occasions to feed my kids. I told the girl at the counter that I was ordering the 3 for $18 and then began placing our order. She told me that there was an additional charge when my son asked for bacon and I agreed. When the gentleman rang me up, the total was almost $30...much more than I expected. When I asked for an explanation, she pointed to the sign and said that the 3 for $18 didn’t start until 3 pm. If I had realized that, I wouldn’t have ordered 3 footlongs and I told them that. They didn’t offer any other explanation or support...just waited to see what I would do.
I have worked fast food and retail before. I know that mistakes happen. But, I also believe that when mistakes happen, you make them right. Customer service comes from how you handle situations like that. A free drink? A couple of cookies? I would have been ok. I paid The almost $30 and walked out with my kids...and I was angry.
