I order a bagel at10:42. Go in to pickup at 10:56am and there is no order for me. I ask the lady with the hat what the phone number to the business is to make sure I have the correct place and she doesn’t know the number. She grabs a brochure and sure enough I had called the right place. Rather than apologize for inconvenience she asks me flatly what do you want? Mind you the business is dead there is only one customer - so after 4 minutes I get served a quick bagel. I go into my car to eat it and sure enough it’s full of bacon. I’m a Muslim so not cool. I go back in to tell the lady and she rudely tells me it’s a mistake and gets loud rather than apologize for such a grave mistake. Rather than offer a refund she argues with me and gets loud - she confirms there wasn’t a shift change in the past 20 mins therefore it was all on her and her mistake. No accountability. No respect. No decency. Just attitude and sassiness - give me my $5 back rather go to dunkin lol. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Please train your employees to properly deal with customers and to show respect for peoples time and...
Read moreBagels Plus Deli in Bristol is hands down one of my favorite spots! The food is always fresh and delicious—whether it's a bagel sandwich, a dozen bagels with cream cheese, or anything off their menu, you really can't go wrong. The bagels are just perfect every time.
The staff is super friendly and welcoming. You can tell they care about their customers and take pride in what they do. It always feels good walking in there—like you're part of the neighborhood.
The place is also really clean, which I definitely appreciate. Everything is neat and well-kept, and it just adds to the whole good vibe of the place.
And the prices? Totally reasonable! You get great portions and amazing quality without breaking the bank.
Highly recommend this place to anyone in the area—or even if you're just passing through. You’ll be glad...
Read moreI travel through Bristol every 3 months or so and always call the day before to place an order. Today when I stopped to pick up my bagels there was a note "no garlic bagels". The whole idea of ordering them the day before is to make sure I get my favorites because they always sell out. I was disappointed but ok it happens. Then when I looked in the case to choose replacements I noticed the garlic bagel basket with pieces of garlic on the paper liner. So, either they didn't plan on enough bagels for pre-orders, they took my bagels to give to another customer, or they didn't change the paper liner from the day before. The first two are bad customer service, the last one a little disturbing. In any case this was my favorite bagel stop in Connecticut, may be enough to keep me...
