first time we went was okay, they were out of chili within two hours of opening which was a bummer but we still ordered. second time food was less of an experience compared to the first time. the burger on our second visit was still pink in the middle of the patties so we threw it away.
they will only give certain customers free drinks, BOTH times we went someone each time got a free drink. i, of course had to hear about it the second time, because my child was with me. its a bit rude to offer one child a free drink and not the other. kids pick up on stuff like that. you can’t pick and choose which customers you’re going to be nice to and extra friendly with and then other customers give the bare minimum effort. no smile, not the warmest greeting. over all the food is pretty decent, hot dogs have been their favorite. just because of service, not sure if we’ll be back. i hope other people have a better experience than we did. very...
Read moreWhere do i begin? Myself and my wife stopped in today for the 1st time ever for lunch on a whim as we were out on a walk enjoying a beautiful day. They welcomed us with arms open and a smile. They let us try a few things and everything was amazing. We placed our order and enjoyed friendly family conversation while we waited. We ordered the papa bear and loaded nachos and a hot dog. They made us 2 baby bear claws for the road. I am beyond thrilled with not only the food but the people who work there. I feel like i truly made friends today and i now have a new favorite local restaurant. When i took a bite out of the burger i couldn't do anything but close my eyes and fight the tears because i was instantly taken back to when i was a young boy with my papaw watching the Britol Tigers play baseball and eating "the best hamburger ever" i mean this with all my heart i truly love this place and will be back...
Read moreThis little spot is amazing. The son and mother and grandmother are truly the stars. Everything is freshly made, and you can tell so much love goes into their food. From the moment we walked in and just stumbled into the place by accident we were met with absolute kindness.
The son is a true salesman and very proud of what his family has been able to accomplish. I got the potato soup which turned out to be not a bowl but a pot. Lol then I got a ham and cheese croissant and my coworkers got a salad and a sub sandwich. Then the grandmother brought me out some of her homemade chili. We laughed because I told her that where I'm from which is the deep south when something is fantastic we say you put your foot in it!!!!
Please, whenever you are in Bristol Tennessee stop by and taste their pie of the day or grab some delicious chili or their sub sandwiches which they are known for....
