The ice cream is delicious. There's a girl that works the register there -- To the owner: get her out of there. She doesn't address customers and stays on her phone at the register while you're standing there waiting to order. The look on her face says, why the heck are you here and she answers back with an attitude. This is the second time now. I'm not going back!
To the owners response: before we walked into the shop I already knew I wanted the cherry chocolate because you were out of it last time I was there and I was dying to try it and it was very good. My husband loves chocolate so he went with that. We didn't need much time because we already knew what we wanted even though we looked at the menu briefly still getting used to all the unique flavors. The fact you can't see her on her phone puzzles me because I stood there waiting for her to look up to address us and what you don't hear is the audio - me asking her if she's working, since she hadn't looked up from her phone since we walked in. Her answer was she was waiting on us to say something. I have worked customer service for years so maybe that why I am so bothered. The fact you clarified something I as a customer experienced negatively to dismiss facts is part of the problem. She was not nice the first time I was there and awful this time. The girl working with her was very nice and shocked I asked such a silly question but wanted to get her attention that she was so dismissive and she should know the impression she is giving to people. It's not right. I didn't mention until now that she didn't take a simple order right either - asking for a sugar cone and the receipt said cup. Ask the girl working with her, she offered to give me a cone with my cup but it was whatever at that point. The girl walked away so she had no idea she couldn't even get that right.
I'm glad you are aware. I hope someone else has the guts to say something about such poor service. I guarantee I'm not the only one. Then maybe you will reconsider your stance on clarifying something different than what I saw and experienced. Keep making delicious ice cream! Unfortunately, service is part of the experience also and that I won't be back for. Thank you for responding to me. I...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy siblings and I showed up at this shop around 8:50 PM on Motherās Day, thinking they closed at 9 thanks to a mistake on Apple Mapsāturns out they actually close at 8. We felt terrible once we realized they had already shut down for the night, especially knowing the owner had worked all day and is a mother herself.
But instead of turning us away, this incredibly kind woman welcomed us in and served us ice cream with a warm smile, even though she had every reason to call it a day. Her generosity and kindness truly made our night. Itās rare to find that kind of heart in business anymore, and it made us appreciate the ice cream (which was delicious, by the way) even more.
