I got a few sushi rolls from this restaurant and found what looked to be a jet black hair in the middle of a piece of my sushi. I didn’t eat the rest due to this. I emailed beyond menu (the 3rd party app I ordered from) who forwarded this to the owner. The email from the owner stated “ Please tell the guests that it's not the hair, it's the edge of the black plastic box, sometimes the edge of the container is not cut well and there are some edges look like hair ,no one have black hair in my restaurant we all have color hair thanks” even if this wasn’t a hair, a piece of plastic shouldn’t be in the middle of my sushi roll for me to consume. Extremely frustrated with this response, seems like they were just trying to get out of the responsibility and it was also a lie. When I entered, the 2 employees who were there that (the sushi chef and the front count waitress) had black hair. Hope no one else has...
Read moreI have eaten here for over a year and the food is great but the customer service is terrible everytime. And it’s so bad that it ruins the food experience. Even when it was dine in it was terrible. But take out is still so bad. The girl in the front ALWAYS has attitude. And this time she pushed me over the edge. I asked for an extra sauce cuz I had 5 rolls and don’t have aoy sauce at home and usually finish it. Also I’m sharing with three people and there’s only 2 containers. She flat out said no. And I then asked again saying I don’t have soy sauce at home and always need more. SHE REFUSED AGAIN. She instead hands me a packet which are very tiny when there were containers of soy sauce right next to her already ready to go. Lately everytime I go here the price and food isn’t worth how annoyed I get with the lady. She doesn’t have to be super nice but she doesn’t have to be rude either. It honestly...
Read moreOn average, the service is spotty at best if you’re eating in. The food is pretty good though, but if you’re looking for sushi, there is better in the area for a marginally higher price. As far as all the raw rolls go, the ingredients are high quality. They taste fresh and I’ve never gotten sick after eating there.
I would recommend their non-sushi dishes, such as the udon yaki or steamed and stir-fry dishes. They do however have a decent lunch special menu whether you’re eating in or ordering for pick-up. While I worked down the road from them, my co-workers and I would order their lunch special at least once a week. You get a small salad, a miso soup, and 3 non-special rolls of your choosing for $12.99....
