I swear, this place NEVER disappoints! My husband and I went through here last night for dinner and ordered the classic 2 chili burgers with 2 fries, a Dr. Enuf and sweet tea. Got home (we only live about 10 minutes from the restaurant) and about halfway through his chiliburger, my husband pulls out a long blonde hair. Neither of us are blond! LOL So we called and informed the manager (nicely, we realize it can happen) about the situation, and she took down my name and told me to come back by tomorrow for not only a replacement chili burger, but also another drink and fry. We just got home from there about 30 minutes ago after having swung by to pick up our free order. We gave the gentleman at the first window our receipt and he rang it up. To our VERY pleasant surprise, at the second window we realized the manager had not only replaced the original meal like she said she would, she'd also given us an ENTIRE SECOND MEAL! At no charge. She apologized at the window for the previous order and was nice as could be.
It's a trend I've noticed with Pal's, no matter which one I go to, be it the one in Jonesborough, Elizabethton or Bristol -- their customer service significantly surpasses that of any other fast food chain in the tri-cities area. They're always polite and accommodating and the food is always exquisite. I'm so glad we live even closer to a Pal's because they can sure expect more frequent...
Read moreI don't know what to say except Google Pals...they have a training system that Fortune 500 companies have came to copy...similar to Chick-fil-A...except Pal did deal with MickyDs founder back in day I believe and didn't want to go global...If he did as long ago as he started they would be maybe not as big as McDonalds but just LIKE NOW...when wealthy people in all my big jobs come to town...the 2nd time they don't wanna go sit down at a nice restaurant...because we took them through that Pals drive in 1st time....if it's 18 months later....they wanna go to Pals for lunch 1st day...I'm talking high end folks. It's just always same and they do such a good job training young people. My daughter had 3 jobs when she was 16...won't get into detail but Pals was the "W2" job and it just helped that drive she already had seeing my wife and work as hard as we did...such great training and structure. Read moreNot a fan of the night crew at this location. The girl taking the orders could use some lessons in customer service. My order was wrong and when I had come back she seemed to make it out to me that’s what I had ordered which is not the case. I received the correct part of my order after having to reexplain the issue a few times. Pals customer. service and getting it right is what I enjoy about this location not sure what’s going on but I hope it gets fixed. Also the chocolate shake is like a little bit of chocolate with vanilla ice cream like a little chocolate swirl, pals is my go to for a good shake so I was pretty disappointed when the girl seemed to not want to remake it since her comment was that’s how our chocolate shakes always are…. No they really aren’t. I am a manager of a very busy company I would want to know if my associates were not customer service friendly which is the reason for this post.
