Fantastic food, great service, and a chill atmosphere! As a California native who grew up enjoying authentic Latin cuisine I can attest 'Pisco & Tequila' is 100% DELICIOUS. I enjoyed: 1. Tacos de Carne Asada (Steak Tacos) 2. Tacos de Pollo (Chicken Tacos) 3. Tacos Al Pastor (Pork Tacos) 4. Carne Asada Nachos with Fried Egg 5. Ceviche and Calamari 6. Chips and Guacamole My only critiques are: 1. Tacos de Pollo were a little dry 2. Chips and Guacamole were very small portions My favorite dishes were the Tacos de Carne Asada and Steak Nachos. Prices were reasonable and service matched the chill siesta vibes. I came with my 4 year old son and infant daughter; staff were welcoming and the ambiance was not disturbed by my baby's coos. Among the best Latin / Mexican food I've had... Certainly the BEST in Bristol and PORTSMOUTH! 10/10 will be coming back as a regular.

WOW! We had an amazing dinner tonight at Pisco&Tequila. The vibe is very cool and cultural, the attention is fantastic and the food was fantastic. I should mention we are Peruvian and it is tough for Peruvians to admit that restaurants make better food than themselves but tonight might have been the night! We started with the Papa ala Huancaína which was perfect. Main dishes were Jalea that was fresh, crisp and delish, bistec a lo pobre was seasoned and cooked perfectly, tallarín salteado con carne was so good and the papa rellena was filled with freshly chopped beef (not ground beef). For drinks we had Paloma, and a piña colada and they were perfect. Not too sweet and delish. Pisco&tequila was far better than our usual Peruvian place in PVD and we will be back!!

Ok folks if you haven’t been here yet you are seriously missing out! We are originally from RI and flew in for a few days. We had heard great things about Pisco & Tequila and decided to squeeze it in. Let me tell you we are so glad we did!! Phenomenal food! For starters we had a chicken empanada. Very good! Great flavor! Then I decided on the Lomo Saltado and it was so flavorful and delicious! Wowza! The steak was fork tender. My husband had the Bisteca La Pobre. It’s a favorite of his and he wanted to try it here. He was so impressed! He cleaned his plate. We also had some wonderful holiday drinks. Beautifully made and delicious! Service was wonderful. We are so glad you we visited. Definitely don’t sleep on this one!

Pisco & Tequila is an absolute gem! Incredibly delicious food, fun atmosphere, friendly staff. It’s a real find.

The menu has both Peruvian and Mexican dishes. All of the dishes we’ve tried from both have been fantastic. The Peruvian dishes are especially delectable, as good if not better than any on the west coast. Beef Anticuchos appetizer can serve as a light meal. Marinated and seared beef chunks served with blue potatoes and Peruvian corn. Pollado are two chicken thighs, marinated in an exotic mixture of herbs and spices. It’s fabulous, you’ll never look at chicken thighs the same way again! Loma Soltado is deliciously marinated and herbed beef chunks, similar to the Anticuchos appetizer. For side dishes consider the Chaufa Rice, stir fried with green onions and a dizzying mix of ginger and garlic, not at all greasy, just perfectly done.

On the Mexican side the enchiladas are top quality, rich, flavorful, with a side of red rice and excellent quality beans (not the usual paste stuff). On a recent visit a friend from Arizona, home of plenty of great renowned Mexican food, pronounced the Fajitas as the best she’s ever had.

New owners recently took over the restaurant and the menu has grown substantially. There are many new items on it we can’t wait to try!

The drink menu is equally fun and impressive. A long list of mixed drinks, cocktails, margaritas, as well as draft and bottled beers and wines. On a recent visit there were several Peruvian artisanal beers available. The two hard-core beer geeks at the table found them genuinely delicious. A ‘Scottish Export Ale’ tasted like an incredibly smooth, rich, malty lager, without a hint of bitterness or aftertaste.

The atmosphere is fun, colorful murals on the walls, also with some outside seating overlooking the water.

Overall Pisco & Tequila is a treasure. It’s hard to find Peruvian food anywhere in New England, let alone superb quality like this. It also happens to have the best Mexican food outside of the major cities. It’s a surprising find in little out-of-the-way Bristol RI. If this restaurant was in Boston it would be mobbed...

This place is my wife and I's favorite place anywhere. The food is beyond amazing. Let me start with the fries here are the best fries I've had anywhere and they will be the least interesting thing on your plate. All the food is so rich and flavorful. My wife and I are always sad when we get full because there is so much good here.

I highly recommend the parihuela (seafood soup). You will want to hunt for every scrap of seafood and drink up all the rich broth. I am not a soup person but I would be if all soup was like this. My wife got the bisteck a lo pobre (Both times!) and man that steak and that sauce is so good. We desperately want to know what ingredients they're using.

Definitely come here if you want amazing food you can't get anywhere else. Too many people are sleeping...
