Jules Ice Cream — Restaurant in Bristol

I’m a local and come here regularly and support all local businesses . I will never spend a dime here again , so sad that there are no adults in charge to take care a minor customer service issue . I’m appalled at how I was treated . Locals should spend they’re money somewhere else , besides the ice cream isn’t as good as it use to be , grays is right down the street and much better , and now there is an ice cream shop at beach house a few feet down the road as well. Not a big loss

Hi Jules , yes I asked for the equivalent of 1 scoop with 2 flavors ( which most ice cream shops do) level with the cup. I was shocked because the last three times I visited your establishment I received just that and was dumbfounded why today that has changed . All I got was that’s our policy, apparently not if I was served a half and half 1 scoop three times already at your establishment. I actually got less ice cream that way , which is better for your bottom line. What I was appalled about was I was then offered 1 scoop with 2 flavors for the price of 2 scoops. You were willing to charge me double for less to give me exactly what I wanted in the first place , which is why I left without purchasing anything for myself. Exceptional! I took my mother over after eating at the Portside Tavern for her Birthday and both of us were very impressed! They had much more Vegan Options than I ever expected, for someone who is Vegan! Finding good Vegan Ice Cream around here is pretty hard! I got the Vegan Cookie Dough with Peanut Butter and my mother got the Maine Wild Blueberry in a waffle cone! We both got a regular size (2 scoops) and gosh was it a generous amount! Definitely good as a treat on its own, but after eating dinner, much more than what was needed for us in particular! However, who can complain about a lot of Ice Cream!? Just be prepared to be STUFFED! The Ice Cream itself was delicious! So good!; We walked around the park while eating and it was soooooo nice! We already decided that it's our new Go To Ice...

Visited immediately after the fireworks, so the store was packed with a line around the corner. After realizing one of the people in our party has a gluten allergy, without our even having to state it or ask for any accommodations, Juliana immediately offered the gluten list of ice cream flavors, cones, etc. She also asked if we wanted her to use the allergy scooper and wash her hands before getting the ice cream. We've never had this experience before, and while the ice cream is delicious, and the staff are kind and efficient, it's this level of care that will have us waiting in however long a line to go back...
