I would like to say that I can't thank you enough for having something I was able to eat and swallow and still taste good. I have had a trach in more throat do to throat Cancer so lost much of my taste and had a very difficult time swallowing. I have beat the Cancer and had the trach removed but a little over a week ago, I had a allergic reaction to some medication that was prescribed to me. I almost lost my life and be they had to again put the trach in my throat so I could breathe. Needless to say starting all over again with difficult swallowing and very little taste. I asked my husband to get some french toast from your restaurant to see if I could soak it in syrup to swallow. When he is brought me the French toast, not only could I taste how delicious it was but with just a little bit of syrup it was soft enough to without too much effort. Thank you, thank you thank you. That was the best french toast ever. Hope your day is a glorious one knowing what I huge difference you made...

Good food but not very friendly to service animals I was out with my friend that needed a service animal and they were very taking back and kind of on the rude side of the mere presence of a service animal in the restaurant. I asked what the problem was and I was told by one of the waitresses that the owner of the restaurant doesn't like animals even if their service animals in their his restaurant and I've been there before without my friend and they're very friendly very outgoing so I know this is something to do because the service animal was in the restaurant because normally they don't act this way so I'm just putting this out there to warn people that do have service animals to kindly look for a different restaurant to go to because this one is not very friendly to people that need...

I am not one to complain too often. I go in here while getting my carfixed down the street. Waitress tells me they can't accomodate my son's allergies. He is allergic to wheat and dairy. Long story short she was a rude person. I believe her name was Deb. My son said thank you every time she did something. My daughter asked why she is so mean. I told my daughter she was rude. The waitress slams my cup of soda on the table. Very immature. She then walks by us 6 times as I wait to have the french toast wrapped that we didn't touch. I ended up asking the other waitress Sarah who was so nice and pleasant. She even apologized for the other waitress's behavior. I was also charged made up amounts also. I disputed the charge. Substitute fries says $1 not $2.50. Food wasn't bad. Do not think I will...

Apparently, Rodd's has been around for 35 years, this is my second visit in the last 4 years. It seems everyone around raves of this place. I had scrambled eggs over a biscuit and gravy, I didn't notice much or any sausage in the gravy. I also had their homemade corned beef hash, which was great and had onions. The prices were great, and the food tasted like grandma's or my Aunt Rhoda's, it made me feel right at home. The serving sizes were appropriate for the price, and I didn't walk out too stuffed. I enjoyed my breakfast and I'm looking forward to my next visit.

Rodd's in Bristol was almost perfect. Place was very busy but we're able to be seated right away. Service is very friendly. Lots of breakfast items/combos to choose from. All are priced really well. Scrbled eggs, iver easy eggs, bacon and sausage were cooked perfectly. However the pancakes and French toast both had a bit of an off taste to them... something like old oil. Just wasn't right. Aside from that Rodd's looks to be a popular choice for breakfast and lunch.
