Beware of the bubble tea. I ordered a Thai milk tea with boba, but it tasted fruity and had fruity popping boba. I pulled back through and told him I think they gave me the wrong drink (only because I don't like fruit tea, I drove out of my way for Thai milk tea, and it seemed like an easy fix). He just said, "Well, the boba is passion fruit..." "Boba" implies the standard tapioca pearls. The online and in person menus don't specify they use popping passion fruit boba, and the guy who took my order didn't clarify even though I said I wanted boba twice. I didn't push it because I understand service jobs suck and I prefer to avoid conflict. But I'm disappointed because I paid $7 for something that (from my perspective, due to poor information) I didn't order. The longer the tea sat, the more fruity it tasted and the harder it was to avoid the boba. I ended up throwing more than half away.
I also got a bacon, egg, and cheese wrap. The bacon and cheese were great, but the egg was rubbery and the tortilla seemed stale (not sure if it was - just had the qualities of a stale tortilla). But like whatever, I ate it and it was fine. Not worth taking away a star imo.
I gave three stars because the two dudes were initially nice. If they had offered to like remake it or if they had just told me the boba was popping passion fruit when I ordered, I would have gotten just the tea, and I would've been happy to...
Read moreSo, being from California and having a variety of great coffee baristas, it makes it difficult to find a really good coffee house. I love good, bold coffee! There aren't many convenient independent coffee spots in the area. For this area, Trailblazer does a decent job. We have visited about 5 times now. I like to customize my drinks, that seems to throw them a curve ball. So far, I have only gotten my drink correctly made 1 out 5 and charged a variety prices for my coffee, depending on who takes the order. Beware, the coffee is fiercely hot through that cup!!! My husband likes his coffee strong like bull, so we are still tweaking his order to get that strong coffee for him. We tried the Donut hole variety, they were like something from a grocery store or gas station. We also tried the scones and they were more like flat muffins with the same quality as the donut holes. We do not care for coffee chains, so we will continue to work on getting our orders tweaked to our liking and searching the menu for the right treat to go with our coffee. With all that said; the service is great, friendly and accommodating. The drive-through is a wonderful convenient feature. We get our coffee hot and fast and we appreciate that! We will keep coming to get our coffee fix as it's the best we've had thus far...
Read moreI tried this little coffee spot while in Bristol, and omg, our drinks were so good! My husband ordered the Carnival (which is very sweet and an energy style), and I ordered the Blueberry Crisp Latte with 1 pump of liquid cane sugar and replaced the regular milk with oatmilk! Mine was fantastic! The best coffee I've had in a long time, and that's coming from someone who makes them at home or orders from Starbucks. The only thing I would have changed is the amount of ice. I ordered a size medium, but by the time I got rid of a majority of the ice, I had half of a cup of coffee left. Sigh. Next time, I'll definitely ask for less ice.
To add to all of that... the service was quick and the workers were nice. They are very helpful when you need help with something (as I did). We will definitely be back.
Please branch out and come to Johnson City, TN. We are much closer to there. I would definitely support you even more so then since I only live an hour away from...
