We went to dinner last night 11/8. First time for me. We had reservations. The lady who met us just point to our table and said it's over there. She then came to our table with menus and greeted us. Asked what we wanted to drink. We asked for a eine and drink list and she said they didn't have one. She said, you can turn around and see some of our wines behind you and we have a full bar. Uhm. Okay. She did suggest a red blend wine but nothing else. We ordered an app and she asked if we were ready to place entree order. We said we need a few more minutes. She told us they had prime rib but if we wanted it we needed to hurry because there was only 2 left. 2 what? Pieces whole prime ribs? She left and another lady came over a minutes later and greeted us, asked us if we had heard rhe specials? Uhm no! The other girl never mentioned anytbing other than prime rib. We ordered our entrees and got our appetizer, stuffed mushrooms were wonderful. Waited a very ling tike for our entrees. I got steak au pouivre and my bf had the bone in pork chop. Both were excellent. We noticed the table beside us recieved bread with their meal but we didn't. Really didn't want it because the meals and app were very filling. We just felt like we were an after thought with our server. Not sure if she was new or what but she was not a good server at all. I don't even know her name because she never told us. Short blonde hair is really on description. The menus have no prices posted but the laminated menu they gave us had prices. The table beside us recieved their check and one of the men noticed a discrepancy in his meal price. The menu said $38 but was charged $44. He was told oh sorry, the price went up and we haven't changed our menus and printed new ones. Okay so he still should have been charged the menu price. If it were maybe a dollar or two then okay but it was a $6.00 difference. The meal was great but the lack of service was poor and really turned me off...
Read moreSave your money and go somewhere else. While the food was good, the service was not. We made a reservation for 7 people. When we arrived, there were only four other parties. We waited forty minutes for an appetizer of “warmed” Brie, which was not warm. We waited another forty minutes for our food but only six dishes arrived. The waitress came up and said that she gave the last dish to a different party and would try and get the last order out soon. We explained that we waited a long time for our food and expressed our displeasure at the situation. The waitress said “I’ll go check” but did not come back. We did however hear the waitress complaining to the wait staff in the back about our party. Eventually, after another fifteen minutes, we received the last dish from a different waitress and the 350+ bill with no further explanation or attempt to apologize. We are no strangers to $40 plus entrees, however, elevated levels of pricing require elevated levels of service. While the food here was average, go spend your money at the new steakhouse...
Read moreSaw this place on Facebook after they sent me a friend request from their Facebook page! I’ve wanted to go for a while and me and my boyfriend finally bit the bullet. The waitress was precious! But the service was soooooooo slow! The food was subpar. I think the atmosphere they wanted the restaurant to give off was more of a fancier vibe for dinner. They asked if we had reservations upon arrival and had a more “high class” menu I guess you would say, but the restaurant itself seemed very run down. Bread was good. I got the shark, which sounded intriguing. Shark was good, but the sauce kind of over powered it and was almost greasy. The chef picked the sides which were roasted red potatoes. They were good but nothing special. My boyfriend had the ribeye and he said Texas Roadhouse’s steak tasted better and after trying his I agree. Didn’t have a lot of flavor and his a had a lot of gristle on it. Bill was $100 and we just didn’t think it was worth it. Not a place I would seek out...
