Short Story: They truly went above and beyond for exceptional service tonight, and the food was absolutely excellent!!!

Long Story: We had ordered for delivery through the app “Slice”, and for some reason the app didn’t update with our order status at all. It charged our card and sent a confirmation but did not update further than “order submitted” in the app. About 10 minutes after the order was placed I received an email from slice that they were looking in to why our order seemed to be delayed. 15 minutes after ghat, I received another email that slice had cancelled our order! We figured, oh well, and started to order from elsewhere.

Right before I hit the order submit button I received a call from the restaurant explaining that the order was ready and the door dasher was there but the order came in as voided. We decided that yes, we did want the order, but we wanted to make sure that the restaurant got paid since slice had cancelled the order and was supposedly refunding the money. A phone call to slice support confirmed that the order was now uncanceled, and a call back to the restaurant to confirm, but by then the door dasher had apparently told the restaurant that we’d wasted his time and he left without the order (it had only been maybe 3 minutes). So the restaurant said they were calling door dash to get another driver. We received a third phone call from the restaurant because door dash refused to deliver the order because they didn’t have another driver. The kind woman from the restaurant I’d been speaking to multiple times now, Amanda, offered to just deliver it herself even though they typically don’t do delivery from the store. Within about 10 minutes, we had our order!

They didn’t have to deal with all of that, and Amanda certainly didn’t have to get out in the cold to deliver to us, but they truly went above and beyond and not only delivered our pizza but exceptional service. Me and my family eat here every year on my grandmothers birthday she loves the chicken and ranch pizza trying to order it today on her birthday they lie and say it’s not even on the menu after we are looking at the menu and it’s clearly on there we literally have this pizza every year so she then proceeds to put us on hold after 6 minutes we hang up and try again she then starts to get angry telll us it’s not on the menu and that they’re busy and hangs up on us I can’t think of anywhere that would allow employees to talk to paying customers like this they just lost our business for sure and honestly after listening to this employee talk to my grandmother on her birthday I don’t know why anyone would want to go there in the first place also the food and service has gone downhill ever since they reopened a few years ago maybe they changed owners I don’t know but I do know this we won’t be going back and I wouldn’t encourage anyone to go there especially if they’re busy they will just catch an attitude and tell you stuff isn’t on the menu even if you are looking right at the menu very unprofessional and I can’t think of any place that would allow employees to talk to customers the way I heard her talk to a 77 year old woman today honestly they are lucky I’m taking the time to just give them a bad review opposed to going down there myself and letting them know how I...

I've been going here for year's, and it used to be the best cheese steaks and pizza in the Tri-cities area, and we drive 45 minutes to eat here, but the past 6 months to a year, it's declined horribly!! Every time we order the food is made wrong, or it's very skimpy! The last time I ordered a veggie pizza, and the cheese didn't go to the edge of the crust, just the sauce and the toppings were minimal, so I posted it on their FB page, and also called them to explain my issue! "Amanda" was very understanding and apologized, and said they would replace the pizza! Which was fine, until I realized they blocked me on Facebook! How childish, and unprofessional!! They had already deleted my post, I actually told her to do that, so blocking me was completely unnecessary! Had I have known, they were going to do that, I would have mentioned how nasty 🤢🤢 the chicken cheese steak was as well!! I have sent them many customers over the past several years, and I guess they don't care about their loyal customers! I definitely won't be eating there ever again! SMH! The Kingsport location is much better, and we've never had any issues with them! They've always been wonderful and the food is always delicious, and if there's a mistake, they're very apologetic and quick to fix it!
