Went on 4/5/25 for our son’s 18th birthday with a party of 22. Called on 4/3/25 , Thursday and spoke to a host about reservations and was told they do not take reservations and I said even for a party of 22 and she responded no. Called day of coming in 4/5/25 at 3:00pm and spoke to a male manager and explained my son wanted to come here for his birthday dinner and we were going to be a party of 22, he told me they do not take reservations. I explained that we were all driving from all over. From Tallmadge, stow, falls and Massillon to come here to celebrate my sons 18th dinner that my husband , myself and my two sons were going to head there and be there an hour before everyone else was expected to be be there by 6:00. I was told that I would not be placed on the list until half my party got there. So I had my sister and sister in law and family come there with us so that half our party would be there to be put on the list. So my husband , myself and two sons got there at 4:50pm . There was no wait on a list, still refused to get a table ready for our size party. Waited until my sister, brother in law , sister in law, boyfriend, nephew and two nieces arrived to than place me on a waiting list at 6:00pm. Meanwhile at 5:30 , sat a table of seven people at a table that would have fit our party 22 when they had tables that would have accommodated the party of 7 . They continued to make all of us waited and than texted me at 7:30 saying they had a table ready. Showed me two tables that would seat my 19 and than a table that would sit 4 far away in the middle of the room. I said absolutely not we all did not drive this far to not sit together and celebrate my sons 18th birthday. I than asked what about that table on the far left wall that has seven people sitting at that could have been sat here at these tables , she rudely says well you will have to wait for them and I said fine that is what we will do. I than went and asked a server walking by to speak to a manager . Spoke to a female manager and explain everything that has been going on, how the hosts have been rudely talking about us and our party of 22 this whole time we have been here 3 hours waiting patiently. I will never be returning here even though we enjoy the food. We have never experienced this rude of service ever in our lives from a restaurant and being in public services , I will be spreading this experience to all my clients to make it known. Very appalled , lucky for them this was all for my son or we would have walked out . Our server was nothing but amazing but by the time we got to sit down and eat it was 8:30 at night , we had been there for 3 1/2 hours waiting and should have never waited that long and nothing was done to make...

I’ve driven past Wild Eagle Steak & Saloon at least a dozen times, always meaning to stop in—and now I’m kicking myself for waiting so long. I finally called up a few of my old pals and we met there on a Thursday evening at 6:30 PM. From the moment we pulled into the lot, it was clear this place was going to deliver. The building is massive and impressive, and once you walk through the doors, the high ceilings and rustic yet energetic décor create a beyond-welcoming vibe.
The menu struck that perfect balance: not overwhelming, but packed with variety. From ribs, steaks, and burgers to chicken, pork, salads, bowls, apps, craft beers, and signature cocktails—they’ve got everything, and it’s done right.
Our server, Chassity, was phenomenal—warm, attentive, and absolutely on point from start to finish. Service was quick but never rushed, and we truly felt taken care of.
We started with appetizers for the table: the pepperoni wontons and cowboy candy. Both were flavor bombs, and the portions were generous—perfect for our party of five to share without skimping.
For mains: • My mom ordered the BBQ grilled chicken double breast—so good she had to take one home. • My dad and our friend Joe went with the Notorious P.I.G.—a smash burger topped with bacon and pulled pork. Their plates were practically licked clean. • Jenn tried the Night in Nashville Hot Chicken and declared the mashed potatoes “the best of her life.” • I went with the Kim K pork chop—perfectly seasoned, juicy, and so tender that only the bone remained. I’ve been to places where the pork chop is always “sold out”—not here. Wild Eagle delivered.
Sides deserve their own shoutout: the cornbread was soft, moist, and almost donut-like in texture—just heavenly. The fresh asparagus was grilled to crisp perfection.
We eyed the dessert menu—the skillet cookie with ice cream and carrot cake were calling our names—but after that meal, we were just too full. Next time, dessert is happening.
In short: Wild Eagle absolutely exceeded expectations. Atmosphere, food, service—every box checked and then some. I’m only upset I didn’t come here sooner. Five stars, no question. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat, and I can’t wait to return.
Well done, Wild...
Read moreMy wife and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary and heard good reviews of Wild Eagle Saloon. We were told there was a 30-minute wait when we checked in. We saw there was a larger group in front of us. We then received a message stating that our updated time was now 5 hours from that time. I went up front to jokingly bringing this up with the hostesses (there were at least four of them). They informed me that this was common and that it was how they set up their "pecking" order.
My wife and I found a spot to sit down. We watched other couples get their text messages and get seated. We started wondering if we would have to wait for the larger group to be sat before us.
We saw three tables open up in the dining room (but didn't realize they were not bussed by anyone). There was finally a bit of a fury to clean them all off, but one of the hostesses was the one to clean them off! The team of hostesses had multiple computer screens and a tablet to work off of, but didn't visibly walk around to assess the dining room. If we could see three opening, they should be aware of this too.
We decided to hold off a little longer since there was some headway. The large group finally got sat down. We were worried that the big group held precedence no matter what, even though they could not fit in any of the open spots. The three spots were still open and ready now. We watched as two groups were sat down. Two groups that came in after us.
At this point, we were both hungry and decidedly made the decision to leave (but not say we left). As pathetic as this was, we went across the street, got a meal within five minutes, and were eating food.
We drove home without any updates. We watched television, and my wife went to bed without any updates. Five hours later, we still did not receive any status updates. I sent the message to cancel my table while the Saloon was still open and got nothing.
Now, I am going to bed...disappointed at the system that didn't make sense from the start. As much as I wanted to make this anniversary special for my wife, it will now only serve as...
