Ok. Years later. Nothing is better. Unfortunately, I ordered from them again 7/24/25. Big mistake. I ordered over $130 of food online. The website says that orders over $100 need to be paid upfront. Ok. No problem. However, the website doesn't support payments because the owners/operators won't pay for that service. As a very small business owner myself, with a Wix account (just like them), I don't buy it. I live 2 streets away. I placed a pickup order that would've taken an estimated 50 minutes to fulfill. I also understand that my order was large. In the past, my orders were never as large as today's order. Their pickup & delivery times are notoriously LONG . No problem. However, an associate called me right after I finally sent the order. Not to take my payment because they couldn't do that over the phone even though I was ready to do so in order to make it right. The associate & the other party who called after I hung up with the original associate directed me to a payment option that I needed to sign up for in order to make the payment before the order begins to be prepared. They tell me I have to pay via: Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay exclusively & that they couldn't take my payment over the phone, which I was totally prepared to give after a looooooong day of work & way too many conversations without the result of getting food for my family. At this point, I just wanted to cancel the order & I did. Seriously, guys. Get it together! Brockton is NOT better because you're here. I'm so surprised you're still in business. Smh.
love supporting local businesses. That being said, this restaurant doesn't care about their reputation. Whether I order directly from them or through a 3rd party like Grub Hub, they get the order correct, maybe 50% of the time. It always takes FOREVER to get your order. They pressure you to Cashapp them for their convenience. I have no problem paying more for delicious food & great service. This restaurant delivers neither consistently. Such a disappointment. I am the 2nd generation of my family to frequent this establishment. My sons are the 3rd. We are disappointed. We will not be back. Food is good when they...
Read moreMy fiancé works near the restaurant and picks up take out all the time, which I was always happy with. Tonight though we decided to go to dinner at the restaurant after he got out of work at 10 (which we have never done before, and will never again) we waited for the waiter to come back for a few mins so we could order, our drinks were forgotten about so my fiancé went to the bar to grab them (they were two sodas) then we got our food, which didn’t take long. In the beginning of starting to eat our food I noticed a piece of hair inside of my pile of rice. I started pulling it out while my fiancé watched the whole thing and the waitress walked up at the same time witnessing me pull it out. I didn’t freak out, but I was all set with my food at that point. I ended up taking a few bites of my fiancé’s food while waiting for a check and a box for his dinner. At this point I wasn’t upset at all, I’ve been in the restaurant industry for about ten years and understand sometimes things happen and it’s no ones fault. The thing that really pissed me off is when the girl with the head set came back to the table and said the only possibility was that it was my hair and they had checked the color of the hair etc. I was very taken aback by that statement first off second my fiancé watched me pull it from the middle of the pile of rice and third I never flipped out or got mad or was rude at any point but to have some girl come up to me and basically tell me it was my hair like I placed it there or was some type of idiot!?! Yah no thank you. My fiancé has spent a lot of money there, always tips them very well but for that girl to come up to us and say that was out of line, and rude. You will no longer have my fiancé’s business because I’m the one who always asks him to get food from there, and he was as taken aback as I was when she figuratively pointed the finger at me. Rule #1 in the restaurant business it doesn’t matter if it’s a mistake or an accident or whatever the guest comes first, you apologize and keep it moving, not tell them their wrong. Very...
Read moreIf you are looking for tasty CV food that is legit, then please keep it moving to Dorchester and see Cesaria's because Luanda's isn't it. We went there on a whim, since we were close by in Brockton. We were seated before other patrons, but for some reason patrons that showed quite a while after us, were served well before us. After an hour and a half of waiting for our main course, our food arrived flat on taste and boring in flavor. The wings tasted like they were previously frozen, the steak and chicken were dry, and the fish had no seasoning. For a healthy kick in the pants on our way out the door we were given this bill as dessert. For the quality of food served in-conjunction with bad service, the bill was almost laughable. Not to mention the menu didn't even have the prices listed. After speaking with a staff member we were given a modest discount as compensation for our inconvenience and 2 hours of time wasted. (20% waived) I don't expect any restaurant to prepare food like my grandmother, however I do expect my food to be delivered quicker than 1.5 hours of being seated, as well as quality matching price point. Please take a look at the photo and explain to me how that steak is $28? That's not even a rib-eye. You'll never see me...
