I have discovered Sherlie’s kitchen many months ago. My husband and I have ordered from Sherlie’s kitchen many times. I have been to so many different Haitians restaurants this by far Sherlie’s kitchen is the best. Their food is fresh, no left over . The last time I ordered white rice with purée bean with legume. Food was fresh, well prepared and presentation was great. There is no one Haitian restaurant I ordered purée bran that I like, Sherlie’s kitchen is the only restaurant that they prepare the purée bean to my liking . Griot is always tasty and the picklys is fresh no matter when you order. Have you tried Sherlie’s boulette it is nice and spicy and very tasty that is if you like spice. Customer service is excellent . No long wait for your food, the minute you get there your food was waiting for you to pick up. Sherlie is a very pleasant individual and well mannered, always answers your questions in a professional manner. So far since I have been going to Sherlie’s Kitchen, I have stopped going to any other Haitians restaurants. If you want good, fresh, take out food Haitians food, Sherlie’s Kitchen is the way to go. No...
Read moreI’m sorry Sherlie but if I could give 0 stars I would. The food is actually fantastic. Actually some of the best Haitian food I’ve had in a while. The problem is the young lady at the front. I’m not sure if she’s your daughter but whoever she is, she needs to learn customer service. Her demeanor feels like she does not want to be there. Her tone of voice is rude and careless. If customers ask questions about what’s available, she rolls her eyes and gives short answers like “no” and “i dont know,” or she just points at the menu and says “it’s right there.” She made me lose my appetite. I actually drove all the way to Hyde Park just to get Haitian food because of her negative attitude. I’m sorry. Please consider getting someone else who is more gentle and polite to work at the front. Otherwise you’ll keep losing...
