All in all, quality drinks and food but higher prices. There are certain drinks you can not order in the app for some reason, which is too bad. The Starbucks and Sonic apps are better built which includes customizing your drink with various varieties of sugars, milk bases, and flavor add ins. I will have to try the coffee flavored drinks which I'm sure are good but again, it's too bad most are loaded with sugar and you can't customize your favorite ones by selecting the type or amount of sugar or milks.
A pro: the food varieties are good, which include hot and cold and a mix of meats including turkey instead of pork-based for those trying to lower their fat intake.
A con: the way the drinks are not customizable. I chose to try the strawberry acai, which came with a few different bases like water, tea, lemonade, and coconut. I chose the tea base (not even sure if it's supposed to be sweet or unsweet tea) however, the drink was way too sweet. On the app you can't order this drink. I believe there are some drinks more customizable, like with the kind of sugars but I think those are the coffee drinks only. If you're watching your sugar you may want to op for sonic on cold drinks because you can choose unsweet tea and then how much flavor add ins you want. The medium tea is around $4 at scooters.
Also, Scooters cold drinks use the commercial square ice cubes for those picky about their ice (it's not the light crunchy kind).
So bottom line, decent drinks and breakfast foods and sweets but they come at a cost. If you are lactose and need almond milk, etc., or want more customizations then go elsewhere. Yet, if you're needing to stop somewhere where you want a coffee and your friend wants a basic smoothie or tea then this could be a good option because it is fast and the staff...
Read moreThis was my first time trying scooters and I looked online before going but once I got there I saw a chai latte that I must have missed on the website. The person taking my order was so patient and nice and didn’t make me feel like I had to rush. I’m a college student so I don’t have a lot of money and I got an iced chai latte with oatmilk and a double shot of espresso and it was already $10.80 but I really wanted to try the waffle sandwich but it would have been way over my budget, but she was nice enough helping me see how much everything was together. Unfortunately, when I got my iced chai latte, it tasted almost burnt like a bon fire, I’m not sure if that’s what the chai taste like or if something happened, but also the double shot of espresso tasted so sweet and sour and I usually drink it straight but it was difficult this time. I’m not sure if it the machine or the beans, but overall I’m glad I went and tried scooters coffee and had a great experience with the customer service. I also didn’t receive a receipt for this visit so I can’t add this visit...
Read moreThis place just opened up and has already terrible service. I was the only customer there today and had to wait five minutes for a hazelnut latte. It sounded like they had at least four or five employees in the store and one of them came over to the drive-through window it was more interested in pulling out the tip jar so they could dump it out on the counter and count it. I was in a rush and couldn’t believe that it took five minutes to get the coffee. I left had to stop and get gas took a drink and after waiting all that time it had no hazelnut in it. No flavoring at all. I have been a couple of other times it was halfway decent but each time the drink taste different so apparently they’re not trading the employees properly or the same. Not a good way to...
