Our order tonight was supposed to have tator tots. When it arrived we discovered we got onion rings. The manager said the onion rings would be taken back (even though they would just be tossed as they couldn't be served to another customer) and replaced with the tator tots we ordered. Anytime other restaurants make this kind of mistake they let us keep the food that was served by mistake. I had my dad order a cookie dough sundae that I had seen advertised. He did. I was looking forward to the big chunk of cookie dough. When he got home I was met with ice cream and a few cookie dough pellets on top. When I called to let them know they were not making them according to the advertisement ( I was friendly and not rude at all), I was told that he was looking at the ticket and it said cookie dough sundae, not big scoop. I was told if we were wanting a big scoop of cookie dough we should have ordered the big scoop sundae, not a cookie dough sundae. They didn't do anything wrong because our order shows up on the screen and if the screen didn't say big scoop we should have known we wouldn't be getting what was advertised. I said, "Ok, thanks." and hung up. As a customer I don't believe it's my responsibility to be an expert on your menu. If you have a promotion going and there is something on the menu (cookie dough sundae isn't even listed on the menu by the way) that is similar, the employee taking orders should confirm with the customer if they are wanting the current promotion. That would be their responsibility. Over the summer we learned to never order a blast because we were served large ice creams with literally a tablespoon of candy. It was enough for 1 bite with a large ice cream. Ridiculous. I have been extremely disappointed with the service at this location. I have tried to bring concerns about service to the attention to management 2 times now and each time I have not received anything even close to an apology and have even been made to feel like I am being unreasonable and stupid for having a problem. Sonic has always been a family favorite. With our recent experiences over the summer, we will not be customers at Sonic on a regular basis anymore, and we will definitely NOT go to this...
Read moreI have had several negative experiences with this Sonic, but today topped them all! Using the app, I ordered ahead. 4 burgers, 2 tots, 1 onion ring and 4 drinks. I placed the order at 6pm. I arrived at the Sonic at 6:04 and entered the stall #14 into the app. We waited in the stall for 36 minutes. At which time I pressed the button and told them, "We have been waiting on our food for 30 minutes." The person apologized and our food was brought out. 2 of the drinks were supposed to be coke zero+ vanilla and cherry. All of the drinks were red? So I tasted them, unfortunately the soda machine had run out and no one had fixed it. It happens, not a big deal. I push the button and explain the situation. They say they will be right out. 15 minutes, still no drinks. I push the button again, and out comes the manager. Yelling at the top of her lungs, that they have two employees in training, she is cooking and she does not have time for silly issues like this. She proceeded to stand there and attempt to argue with us. At which point I very directly said, "I did not come to Sonic to argue with you. All I need is for someone to go inside and make a coke zero. I am not even asking you to fix the other 3 drinks that are wrong. My family will just drink what we have at home, but one of us can not have sugar. So I just need one coke zero." The manager proceeds to stomp off, now screaming at her employees on her way inside. I have worked in the service industry for many years and NEVER have I EVER seen a manager speak to a customer or thier employees in the way she was speaking. To top the whole thing off when we got home all the food was cold, the tots were still frozen and the onion rings were burnt.đ€Ż I only got pictures of the onion rings because we tossed the drinks in the trashcan at theSonic but, I wish I would have gotten pictures of them as well. Horrible experience. Second horrible experience with this particular manager in the...
Read moreI have been ripped off twice, once i went at 2:30 pm so i could make it to work down the street at 2:50, i ordered and paid on my phone i even had a electronic receipt and i waited until 2:55, i pressed the button and no one answered so i left, i didn't want to be late to work i work in a preschool so it was unacceptable to be late, i then went back after work at 6:05, i told the guy what happened and his response was "Uh, Call it in then!" In the most rude voice ever, so i said are you kidding me... I left saying some rude things and i certainly called it in. A day later the manager called and offered a free combo, i never went back for it because it wasn't worth it. I took the chance of going through the drive thru tonight to get a tea, it only cost $2.05 i handed the girl, Morgan a $20, she gave me back $12.85 after sorting through money for a good 2 minutes. I drove up and realized it was wrong and got out and knocked on the door, i explained to her her mistake and she handed me a $1, i said wait thats wrong, she handed me a dime and i told her no, i need 17.95 back and she said okay, give me your $5 and i'll give you a $5 i said what.? And she took the $1 bill and handed me a $5 and it was finally correct and she looked very angry with me for correcting her, i just said thank you and left. This Sonic is the WORST in town! DO NOT GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO...
