Second Update: The manager was in contact with me and made up for the poor experience I had previously had. Our next visit in, we were treated like royalty. Still love the food, but still not a fan of the guy that yelled at me.
UPDATE: As you see below, they gave me the contact to get ahold of their general manager. Sent in an email promptly after and still haven't heard anything back from this establishment (days later). So much for "making things right". I've lost all respect for these people. Clearly they don't truly care about the customer and think they can do whatever they want and will still get your money.
I hate that I my experience at Teds was so horrible that it has brought me to write a bad review. I have been a loyal teds customer (weekly-biweekly for the past year) and I don’t think I will be able to bring myself to go back following this evenings experience while picking up my to go order. Employees standing around ignoring you and the other 20 people waiting on their orders. When someone would ask about their order they would simply reply “we don’t know we are really busy” or “let me check” only to walk by a minute later and not acknowledge the person that they had just told that they were checking on their order. I patiently waited for my name to be called (because they told us to stop asking and that they would just call the names out as they were ready) and finally one worker states “how about you check and see if the orders in the bar belong to any of these people”. They call my name, I was directed to walk back to the bar area. I walk in to see a man with my food (along with numerous other orders just sitting there) to which I ask (very politely) how long has this been sitting here? The man then (rather than giving me any sort of answer or apologizing) yells “GET BEHIND THE DOOR MA’AM!”. I then exited (Absolutely shocked to how this man just yelled at me after I was specifically directed to go to where he was) and followed him to his window where he continues to not acknowledge me. He continues pounding his screen as he rings up my order, yells out my total and takes my payment (still) without any sort of apology for the wait time. I will add that I had waited two hours for my to go order (to which I was okay with) but to show up and have it be so unorganized and just down right disrespectful was mind boggling and it honestly made me sad because I love teds. But I can’t bring myself to go back to an establishment that (not just one employee, but as a whole) treats their customers that way. Your customers deserve so much better even if you are having a rough night. Read moreI would give them more than 5 stars if I could! This was the best customer service I have ever experienced anywhere EVER! Our waiter Brenden (I believe his name was) was great! We came in yesterday just as it was getting busy...our drinks never got more than half empty before he brought us refills, I actually had to stop him from bringing my daughter another soda and just bring her water otherwise she would have just kept drinking them...lol. my daughter ordered a cheese quesadilla and when the order arrived, her order was incorrect..he apologized and we really weren't upset and didn't complain but the general manager came over and apologized and updated us that the order should be out any munute. When he brought us our check he had taken off the price of her dinner and brought a discount card for free kid meals. I have never had any business jump ahead and correct an issue without being asked to do so. The food is amazing... all of the meat in each dish actually has flavor and is well seasoned unlike most Mexican restaurants where the meat is bland. We love the homemade tortillas and cheese dip! My daughter loved being able to watch them make the tortillas and spent more time at the window watching than she did at the table with us! Great job and keep up the amazing service! I don't think our family will go to another Mexican restaurant ever again in this...
Read moreI guess I was so hungry I forgot to take a picture of my meal. This is by far the best restaurant experience I've received in a long time. Whoever came up with the concept of unlimited personalized queso and salsa for each customer automatically without having to ask, I will say is a genius. That alone would entice me to visit as the leader of the group I brought had mentioned the previous night and made me even more eager to see why everyone was salivating when they heard it's what we were eating prior to leaving the area. Shout out to our server Quinn who killed all by himself. I guess he's their best at serving large groups, because he got everyone one's order (food and drink) correct while remembering who ordered what without referring to his notes. He made sure that all 7 adults plus 20 kids got their refills in a timely manner and to the correct individual. I don't know how much he was tipped, but I say it wasn't enough. My enchiladas were as ordered and the thickness was like I hadn't ever experienced as they were as thick as my thumb or two fingers. I actually was full from those instead of the queso and salsa for once. I could've eaten the salsa as a meal and I would've been satisfied. I suggest visiting any location either as you're entering or leaving the area as you won't or shouldn't be disappointed. I can't wait to return with the same group or with family...
