For the endless sushi dinner, you pay 27.99 and can continue to order as much food as you like. Lunch is 17.99 and pretty much the same except...
Except for the "pick one" section. You get to pick one dish among a choice of 14 items, including BBQ short ribs, steamed scallops, and 8 pieces of sashimi. (only for dinner) These orders are not huge, only about the size of their appetizer dishes. We did not order the 4 dishes that required us to pay an extra $17 (4 kinds of lobster or crag leg dishes).
Another exception is the limit on nigiri - at 2 pcs for each variety. This kind of sucks if you, say, only like spicy scallop, cuz you only get to order 2 pieces. AS of March 2025, there was no such limit anymore for dinner. We were able to order as many as we wanted!
Also, our server told us that rather than not eating the rice that comes with the nigiri, please tell them to size down the rice or omit it and they'd be happy to accommodate. I was thrilled to learn this for our next visit. Being on keto, I can definitely do without all the rice. And hubby likes the rice in moderation, so about a third of what it normally comes would be awesome. This was also how they did it at a restaurant in LA when we were there last month. *UPDATE 5/2025 - we did ask for less rice. The server even had me write it down on the order sheet. But what we got was exactly the same as what we got before. So you can ask for less rice, but it doesn’t mean you will get less rice. They were busy at the time, so maybe next time it will work better? Iono..
All the rolls we have tried were quite good. They weren't overly packed with rice, as some sushi buffets will do to try to cheap you out. As a Korean gal having eaten many a nigiri from all over the world, Wonita's was average.
Dinner entrees: sashimi platter - 2 chunks each of tuna, salmon, white tuna, and clam. Nice! peking duck - comes with 3 pieces of duck, 3 buns, and some sliced green onions. It's ok, but I'd pass walnut shrimp - your standard walnut shrimp dish with yummy sauce. It was yummy, but there is also an all you can eat shrimp tempura on the appetizer side, so if choosing, I'd chose another sashimi platter instead. Entrees: seafood yaki udon - average. I would skip. chicken katsu - I'd do it again if hungry. But there are many other options under appetizers.
Appetizers: seaweed salad - absolutely must order to eat as a side with the nigiri pan seared salmon - bleh. Dry and bland. Stick with the sushi gyoza - good baked mussels - had better at Chinese buffets baby octopus salad - didn't see the "salad" when ordering and expected a hot dish, but it's cold. Personally, I’d skip it. shrimp shumai - quite good! definitely get it again tempura calamari - can't go wrong with this old time favorite soft shell crab - this was great! would eat this over the fried fish or calamari!
We did want to order some hand rolls but forgot to mention it so ended up getting regular rolls instead. Had a hard time trying to finish everything! Note to self - double check and make sure you're ordering "hand" rolls instead of regular! But also, the handrails are very wide heavy and I’m not going to order these again.

Read moreOverall: The quality of the nigiri and rice is low and the server that brings the food is rude.
Food : First, the nigiri had too much rice and made it overbearing compared to the fish. The rice was poorly cooked and was very dry. The nigiri also had very thinly cut pieces of fish, making it impossible to taste the texture. The soft shell crab also had too much breading and too little crab. I could barely taste the crab and its texture because all I tasted was the grease.
Service: Our meal started promising in terms of service. The lady that ran the front was super nice and explained everything to us in detail. However, the other lady that served the food was tremendously rude. She gave us an attitude with every order and brought us the check mid-meal, when I still had multiple orders left. Next, she made me fill out my check before we were done eating. She came around three times asking for it when I told her I wasn't done eating. I couldn't believe that we were rushed out after only 60 minutes at an all you can eat.
Overall, this meal was super disappointing. The quality wasn't great and the waiter that brought out the food was really rude. For actual sushi lovers that care about food quality, I simply cannot...
Read moreWe went to this place for the first time after reading the good reviews. We got there shortly after it open. We ordered the raw oisters along with sushi rolls. As soon as i got home, i had a round of diarrhea. within 30 minutes after we got home my wife ended up vo9miting and i had a second round of diarrhea. Here we are less than a couple hours later and we both running to the bathroom and i also vomited. we both feel sick right now. Hopefully we'll feel better soon. don't know what got us sick. I would guess the raw oisters but could be anything with fish in it really. Maybe they used left over stuff from the night before. do not know for sure but we are both quite sick right now.
In response to the owner response: im sure you take food safety seriouselly but here we are, we both got terribly sick after visiting your establishment. Vomiting and diarrhea for several hours was not fun. Im guessing this was an isolated incident. Never the less it makes me leary to visit your establishment again. I wasn`t looking for a free meal with my review. Just wanted you to know my experience dining at your place so you can take the necessary steps with your employees to make sure no one else get sick...
