This was one of the worst meals I ever had.

"Steak" fajitas. The meat was not skirt steak. Instead the steak was cut into weird thin little strips. No sear or char at all, just grey and soggy and bland. The onions and peppers were also soggy, no char, no evidence that it had been anywhere near a grill. The plate wasn't sizzling and the food wasn't even hot. Obviously everything was cooked ahead of time.

Carnitas. The pork was dry and tough. No seasoning at all and had a very strong and distinct boiled flavor. It was also placed on top of a bed of onions, the exact same old soggy onions that accompanied the fajitas.

Chili rellenos. Food was barely warm. Cheese inside wasn't even melted. Obviously it was old and not cooked to order either.

Queso fundido. The chorizo and cheese were OK. It was accompanied by a mountain of soggy peppers and onions, the same soggy peppers and onions that accompanied everything.

All the food came out in less than 10 minutes. Obviously noting was made to order. This place is an overpriced highschool cafeteria. You should...

Tonight, was the first visit for me & I can’t wait to come back! I was with my sister tonight and both orders was perfect! The food was hot & fresh & they kept our drinks full and brought plenty of chips. It’s been a while since I had great service and food so if you’re debating on whether or not to try out Family Kitchen you will not be disappointed!! Great food, great service and everyone was so nice! A midafternoon meal. Smiles from the greeting at door & at the table. Dining room was in order and clean just a short time from the lunch hour, that’s impressive. Food was hot, flavorful and appetizing. We had Street Tacos & Chicken & Shrimp Supreme, the chicken was tender, juicy and well prepared. Was a great presentation. The staff checked in on our drinks and to see if we were pleased with our food. Prices are affordable and no loud noises from kitchen. We have never had a bad plate at Friends. Best...
