The Beer Growler — Restaurant in Brookhaven

This is a great Beer Growler location! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the brews being poured each day. Take a look at the chalkboard on the right behind the counter for staff suggestions. They allow 4 tastings per person, so that helps in the decision making process. The Scoutmob app usually has deals for a free growler on your first visit ($5 normally).

They have an interesting section of beer bottles that are discounted on the left wall when you walk in. Also many cold bottles in the fridge behind the left side of the counter, so don't forget to take a look at those.

If you're going to become a regular, make sure to ask them about their loyalty card program and start getting those cards punched!! 75% off your next fill when the card is completely punched. Double punches on Tuesdays. They also have a deal where they stamp the back of your tag on Wednesday and Thursday, which is for a discount off your next fill as well.

Parking is not too much of an issue. There are usually parallel parking spots right outside the front door, or you can park in the deck behind...

First off, they're dog friendly which I love. Amazing beeristas; knowledgeable, friendly and cool. Besides being a growler place, you can enjoy a pint and catch either sports or Bob Ross on the TV (depending on the season and who's working), play darts in the back or enjoy a game of Guess Who, Jenga, Cards Against Humanity or whatever other game they may have. Along with a fantastic selection of beers and ciders, there is no beer snobbery in sight. Not sure of what kind of beer you may like? That's totally okay! The bartenders will give you a couple of samples before you make a purchase and will help you find the perfect beer or cider to satisfy your palate. The atmosphere is friendly and you will feel welcome whether you're a regular patron or just stopping in. This place wasn't taking COVID-19 very seriously when I last visited.

Bar tender had no mask/ gloves as he handled the growler. Its messy work and close to a product poeple consume. Maybe it's just an off day for this guy and protective equipment, but a pandemic is worth thinking about.

I wouldn't judge the place on this trip alone. It looks to have a good selection on tap, majority in-state brews.

Not a lot of beers that you can't get in bottles though. But I'll keep checking on their online menu for those harder to find beers and maybe come...
