I tried to avoid posting a public review on google, but they are terrible and Caribou never got back to me when I submitted the information on their website. I went there previously and order two drink. I had to wait 5 minutes for two drinks, and only one drink was ahead of mine. On top of that, my drink was made wrong. When I called to speak with the SM, he just said "when did you want a new one?" Showed no empathy for my waiting, or apologies for the slow speed of service that I experienced.
When I went back to get my free drink today, I received similar lack of consideration. The greeter simply said "can you make a large latte for her?" No one asked me what kind of milk I wanted, or if there were anything else I wanted in it. After going to the barista myself, and instructing her on what exactly I wanted, my order was still wrong. A fourth of my cup was froth, and my drink was made with regular vanilla, when I requested sugar free (I know because I am diabetic and it wrecked havoc on my blood sugar).
I know that Caribou takes great pride in the service they provide, and the standards they set. Caribou is great! This specific location is not. My coworkers drive an extra 5 minutes simply to avoid this location. It just seems to be terrible, from the top down. This location needs some corporate level love...
Read moreUnfortunately this coffee house has not been successful with keeping knowledgeable and friendly staff. I loved this place when it was over on Bass Lake Road but my only complaint was that there was no drive-thru (which I like for those busy work mornings). Now that they've moved, they've been around for long enough to work out the kinks and get things running. This is just not happening. Upon my writing a concern to the company they replied and offered me a free coffee. The service seemed to get better for a few weeks but then it all went downhill again. It takes forever to go through the drive-through. Whether it's because they spend so much time making bagel sandwhiches or what I'm not sure. But they don't usher people to the proper waiting parking places to keep things moving. I consistently have to wait for at least 20 minutes to get my beverage, and that's with only a few cars in line. When I receive my beverage it's hit or miss on whether it's what I actually ordered or not.
I want more than anything for this Caribou to be successful because it is my coffee shop of choice and the location most convenient for me- but I have refused to go back to this location as service just doesn't improve and I feel they've had ample opportunity to make the...
Read moreI went in this morning to get drinks for me and my coworkers and we wrote some of them on a post it the rest just told me what they want. I went up to the cashier, Shamaija G, to take my order I held my post it and before I can start reading my order she grabbed the post from my hand and started typing the order in, she didn't smile or seemed to care to work there at all. After she was done typing i asked how many drinks did she ring up and she said "same as the post it" so I smiled and said "okay, but how many is that?" Because I wasn't sure if we had everyone's on the post it. She said with an attitude "the same amount of drinks on the post it" so i looked at her and said please give me back the post it and as i started to list the drinks, so that she can confirm the order, she interrupted me and started listing the ones she had on her screen. I then told her the rest of the drinks that she missed. She entered them, then she gave me my total, she didn't confirm my order again, I paid and turned out she typed the wrong drink and I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for someone else to fix her mistakes.
