Hook Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Brooklyn Center

Usually when I go to Hook's I tell them not to fry my fish hard I prefer it soft and not with all the flavor cooked out of it but yesterday I forgot to mention that and boy did I pay for it I spent 33.00 and wasn't able to eat but about 20% of my food the shrimp was heavily breaded and cooked way too long my perch was so hard that it crumbled to the touch and my hushpuppy was hard as a rock I'm thinking about bringing it back but maybe I'll just find a new place to get my fish. I decided that I would just chalk it up to a bad experience and just look for a new place to get my fish. Pictures are coming when I home from work. Just so people can see what I had...

This is an Honest review because I live in the community. Don’t eat there. The New Hope location: The cooks were NOT wear masks or gloves. The cashier had a mask on. When I asked him why don’t the cooks have masks or gloves on?.... he just made excuses on how they were 6 ft from each .. You can’t see them fixing your food but at least they should practice sanitation practices. Especially in the midst of Covid 19. I stopped at Five Guys restaurant and all their cooks have gloves and masks on.

So I've been here plenty, and each time my food was good...I went today and not only was service extremely slow for gyro cheese fries my order looked as if it was thrown in it's dish and not with its usual items. I was completely disquisted by its appearance I chose not to eat it. When they aren't busy they take time to fix your order to the 9's but dont dare go when they are busy! It was a waste of my money and I wish I could get my money back but what's the point. Will go to another chain b4...
