Dos Hermanos Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Brooklyn Center

I was disappointed. The service wasn't very friendly towards us. We were seated before a couple that came in and they got their order taken, alcoholic beverages served, and chips served all before I was approached. This is very bland food, I was disappointed to see a big thick flour tortilla that didn't even seem to be warmed up, or else it was old because it was cracking. The meat isn't seasoned and my order wasn't even served with any salsa. Like, I would've appreciated at least some salsa to add some flavor to my food. If you want authentic and flavorful, this isn't the spot. This seems like it's geared towards elderly folks that ultimately retire in AZ or FL that call beer "serrr VAY zahs" cause the couple served before me, called modelo, "modes." There was a lady that came in the same time as the couple and she sat at the bar. I could hear her say she was leaving as she left -cause the service wasn't friendly. I'll just start off by saying that this review is solely based off my 3rd and last time coming to this restaurant. We were sat down pretty fast. Table was cleaned off, but had food left on it. No biggie. Then we ordered the drinks. Only the kids were able to get their drinks. Again no biggie. We waited again to order ours. When we ordered the food, the food was not good at all. The barria tacos (2) orders were not edible. So we ask to have them taken off. The beans and rice were sitting under the heated light for so long that they were not edible as well. My daughter's friend plate had some sort of bug in it. So we sent that back. Then my co worker her food was soggie and she didn't eat her food. We checked out. Paid minus my plate. The food is always delicious in every one of the Dos Hermanos restaurants locations. This was my first time visiting this one and was not the exception. The only difference was the service, I ordered Menudo and my wife ordered the Chicken that comes with onion and mushrooms. We asked to not include the mushrooms, then the order came without onions and mushrooms. For the Menudo the waitress give me a dessert spoon, I asked for the correct spoon and again get another dessert spoon. Finally when I was almost finishing I get the correct size spoon. Also I ordered an additional side of rice that came after we finished. But again, the food is very good and the vibe of the restaurant is great.
