Today, I should have kicked myself for going there!!! While trying to place the order online I was informed to change the bread type because they ran out. Well, I was in the parking lot so, I decided to go inside. Once I went inside I was informed they were out of rectangular dough and 8” dough to make a medium pizza. But, they do have a large 3 topping pizza for $10.99. I told her I wanted the Family Big Box for $22.99 for 2 medium rectangular pizzas, bread sticks, and boned wings. She refused to make accommodations even with me explaining that I have a daughter who would eat the chicken and bread sticks who doesn’t like the pizza.
To make a long story short. I paid $22.99 for 2 large pizzas. I placed the order, went back to my car, talked to my husband about what had happened, made a call to another Pizza Hut, and went back inside to cancel it. Here comes the manager walking up with the pizzas. It had to be about 7 min or less. The pizza looked hot and done. After another long story of mentioning how substitutes were not offered for the inconvenience. The manager stated they couldn’t and offered to give me an in store credit because I wanted to go to the Pizza Hut on West 117th that had what I wanted. I just chose to keep the pizzas to not inconvenience them. Once we got home we realized that one of the pizzas were not fully cooked. I called in letting them know. I explained to her that everyone started eating the pizza but, once I got my slices I realized it wasn’t done. Over the phone she explained the manager did her best by offering to give me a credit for $11.99 but, I explained I want my money back and she constantly refused. Then, she started saying I can only be refunded the money if only one pizza was missing between both pizzas. So, I kept telling her 1 pizza has 4 missing because everyone started eating but, the pizza I chose is less cooked then the other one. No slices were missing but, she kept demanding that only one piece could be missing. I explained to her that I have a family to feed not one person. I didn’t want an in store credit because they don’t care. I was so upset. I just hung up on her. I was going to take it back but, my daughter just wanted me to finish cooking it. Read moreFor the last 3 times in the pass 3 or 4 months, this Pizza Hut has failed to meet even satisfactory standards for me. I'm particular about what I order on my pizza, so it's pretty much the same basic stuff--extra pepperoni, and the addition of extra cheese based on my mood. Each time... EACH time, they've basically given me a plain pepperoni pizza. My problem with that is, if I order it online that way, I shouldn't have to get to the store and check if it was prepared the way I ordered it. Also, if I add for pan cooked crust, the first thing I notice shouldn't be a half cooked crust under the pizza. And the fact that I actually tipped them each time even after the first 2 orders were unsatisfactory--I shouldn't even be having to write this negative review! All of this crap about tipping food workers, and they could basically care less even after calling the first 2 times! It's ridiculous to the point of being intentionally offensive! I'm not even that torn up about the money, because it's not the last money I'll have--but it's the last they'll get from me as customer. The workers look and smell like a combination of being high and/or drunk, so that should've given me all the explanation I needed I guess. I should've at least taken this last one back too, but I was so mad I ended up doing a "Walter White" with it behind my trash can. Seriously, this just ruined my day! Read moreMy fiance and I have had issues time and time again with this restaurant. This time was the absolute worst. I had put in the order at 3pm and had a time set to pick it up at 4pm. When we went to pick it up, it was 3:42pm and I was okay with waiting because I knew I was 15 minutes early. The first thing I noticed was the manager SCREAMING at her coworkers. Second was I had to wait until 15 minutes AFTER my scheduled time. After we left and went home we opened one of the pizzas. It was suppose to be a bbq chicken pizza with LIGHT cheese. Not only was there no bbq sauce on the pizza but it had EXTRA cheese on it. I called the store and spoke to the gentleman at the counter (he was VERY polite and had no issues with him). In the background i could hear the manager trying to say that I'm just complaining and nothing was wrong and that's not what i ordered.
