I used to LOVE this establishment! However, I called Deli World today before I left Walmart off of Cortez as I know they usually take at least 20 minutes to make an order. Jenny answered the phone politely and asked me to wait on hold. I happily obliged. At this point I start driving my way towards deli world. I was put on hold all the way up until I arrived (15 mins) and then I was hung up on (this is the second time this has happened when calling in an order). I walked in to an empty restaurant to explain what happened and understand why I was hung up on after waiting for so long. 2 employees who were working laughed at me. I was told it was their lunch rush. And oh well. I simply stated why answer the phone and put someone on hold only to walk away , then come back and just hang up the phone without finding out if the other person is still on the other line. If you hang up when on hold you can’t call back or you get their machine. Extremely unprofessional staff. Not worth spending 50+ dollars (tips included) each time I order from there only to be treated so poorly. Our family will not go back...

I got the Philly cheese steak the big one and boy it was delicious I got it on white and they toast it which made it all the better and they melt the cheese on the top so it was crunchy with the grilled onions peppers and mushrooms and they were almost caramelized in your mouth it was so good I would definitely recommend that place and I will definitely be going back the employees were very polite it was very affordable and I believe the owner was cooking very nice little Sandwich shop they also had cold drinks they had it looked like homemade potato balls very clean too and you actually can watch the cook why he's preparing your food , it's right out in the open very nice little family atmosphere sandwich shop I definitely recommend it and it was not expensive either it was moderately priced no higher than anybody else around and it...
Read moreAlmost the best cuban sandwich in central bay area (tampa) , I still give it a 5 star. Professional suggestion to owner, please give choice of honey butter instead of garlic butter on the pressed Cubans. I know for a fact that the honey butter is the key and is what made a sandwich shop in tampa voted the best in the bay area bc none of the other sandwich shops use it and most people once they have had honey butter on it they will keep coming back and spread the word trust me on this! I plan to bring some honey butter with me to give to the owner as a taste test for some of his customers so he can see what im talking about. Garlic butter must be a northern thing is not that popular in the south for some reason, I say he should offer both. It only cost 2 bucks for a container of it at Publix and they have land o lakes honey butter and another few brands. One container could do 50 large sandwiches for only 2...
