Where's the beef? Ordered the #24 roast beef on a ciabatta roll. It was literally the smallest sandwich I have ever seen in the world. There was a tiny amount of roast beef on a terrible little ciabatta roll. I could eat 2 of those sandwiches and still be hungry. The price, 7.50 wasn't bad until I realized this was more of a slider than a sandwich. Heading back out now, still hungry. If you're stuck in Brooksville go to Publix for a sandwich. Response : I would recommend more options of bread and meat for people who eat more than a 1/4 pound child sized sandwiches. Get hero bread silly, how have you been in business this long. Just shy of a quarter pound, do you hear that people where's the beef? Might have to weigh that next time if I ever make it back to blumpkinville. That beans and rice was trash also. Take constructive criticism or stay in a rut.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Main Street Eatery in Brooksville is an absolute gem! I stopped in for a meal and was truly blown away. The rice and beans were exceptional — perfectly seasoned, comforting, and clearly made with care. You can really taste the love in the cooking. What made the experience even better was the service. The staff were so friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being overbearing. It felt like they genuinely cared that I had a good experience. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a delicious meal. I’m so glad I found this place, and I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great food and heartfelt service in Brooksville!

My husband and I stopped in here after seeing their sign while at a traffic light. The menu was vast, our server was the best. My husband enjoyed his Cuban, and I loved the turkey with berries and provolone panini and yellow rice & beans. Of course I couldn't finish it all, note to self, get ½ sandwich instead. I managed to save a little spot for the "Cobbler of the day" which was peach and awesome! All the homemade desserts looked great. We will be going back to this little gem in Brooksville, FL. Highly recommend going here

Today my family and I decided to pay Main Street Eatery a visit. We are seldom in down town Brooksville and so, much to our chagrin, have been missing this special place all this time! Since our family owns and operates a restaurant, we can be a bit particular. If we go out to eat we are looking for not only good food, andva clean establishment, but more importantly, we want a place that is welcoming and friendly to unwind in and relax as we enjoy our family time over a good meal. This place has IT ALL! We were warmly welcomed by the smiling faces of the owner and various staff. The decor was well thought out-as was their menu, and communicated their Main Street theme in a fun and charming way! Our server was knowledgeable and sweet and super-patient and accomodating with all of our querky particularness. We also had another server explain the desserts who was also kind and helpful. Our food was great! We sampled several menu items from soups/chilli to sandwhiches to potatoe salad and chicken salad. We enjoyed all of our choices and had goodies left for later making sure to leave room for dessert-which we got to bring home to enjoy. The owner, Peggy, chatted with us for a while. She is a delight! We can see why this place is much beloved in the community. Peggy has warmth and joy about her that is perfectltly suited to being a restaurant owner, as she makes people feel welcome, there. Her place is cheerful and bright and comfortable. It was just what this picky family needed. We look forward to making Main Street one of...

It was okay. Food was decent. They definitely care a lot. But I couldnt eat more than two bites before someone was at my table asking me if I was done or anything ...felt extremely rushed and couldn't eat our meal ..i went with my two kids and they got ice cream for desert as part of the kids meal but it was freezer burnt and to top it off the only drink that comes with a kids meal is fruit punch... you get charged for a full drink if you don't order that specific one.. my kids are allergic to some dyes in certain juices ...kind of doesn't make sense ...wont be going back ...just wasn't for us ...we like to sit and eat our meal without being bothered every 5 seconds ...waitress even tried to take our plates as we were eating she assumed we were done even though the plates were sitting right in front of us ....again to each their own ...its a decent place but we just had a bad experience our first time going and didn't like it ..maybe your experience will/has been different...

Main Street Eatery is our go-to lunch spot — we eat here several times a month and it never disappoints! Peggy and her team are just the best. The atmosphere is always welcoming and full of friendly, upbeat energy. Everyone on staff is so sweet, outgoing, and fun — it honestly feels like visiting family.

Now let’s talk about the food… everything is so fresh and made with love. My personal favorite? The chicken salad sandwich toasted on wheat and fully loaded with pickles — hands-down the best sandwich I’ve ever had! And don’t even get me started on the desserts… the homemade blueberry cobbler and Key Lime icebox pie are both amazing, but that peanut butter pie? Pure heaven. Just like something grandma would make.

If you haven’t been yet, you’re missing out on one of Brooksville’s best-kept secrets. I can’t recommend Main Street Eatery enough — it’s everything a small-town eatery should...
