We were heading to Inverness from Tampa and stopped at this Zaxby's to grab a quick bite to eat Monday night. We stood at the counter for about 3 minutes while 2 girls behind the counter just talked with each other. Then a male worker came up and apologized for the wait and took our order. Then we waited 17 mins for our food to come out which would have been fine if the food was hot and fresh, but it wasn't. We get in the truck to leave and I checked the order and it was wrong. We ordered a 4 piece tender meal and 10 traditional wings. We received a 4 piece and 3 piece meal. When we went back inside to get the correct order the manager Bobi Nobles started very loudly telling the guy that took our order that he needed to be better at checking the orders and she didn't have time or the money to keep fixing issues. The guy she was yelling at wasn't the one that gave us the order. It was one of the female employees that was just hanging out talking when we first arrived. We tried to explain this to her but she didn't take to kindly to customers correcting her. She completely ignored us and would not speak to us. Then she hands the "corrected" meal to the guy to give us. I checked it again and again it was incorrect. This time we received 5 wings with fries. Which all she did was removed the tenders and put the wings in the box. I told the male employee that it was still wrong and the manager Bobi got more irritated. She then emptied all the food from the container and finally gave us the 10 traditional wings we ordered. Again none of the food was fresh, it was luke warm at best, and the fries were stale. The guy at the counter was trying to correct the issue and apologizd, but Bobi made the whole thing much worse. We understand mistakes are made, but when it takes so long for stale/luke warm food and then the manager has an attitude that's when the experience becomes a problem. She as the manager should have never spoke disrespectfully to the employees, especially in front of customers and she could have corrected the employee when customers weren't right there. Read moreFor the past 2 years we have eaten at this location. The past 2 months it has went downhill big time! The employees that use to be employed at this Zaxby’s we’re nice, professional, and always fixed any issues with our orders, with kindness. The past 2 months we have seen all new employees. The last 2 times, we have dealt with a young girl, with blond hair, at the drive thru window. She is very rude, and not customer service friendly at all! Last week, we ordered a wing meal, and kids meal. We told the lady at the window there were only 5 fries in it. We asked if that was normal, and she said most definitely not. She went to fix our order, and the blonde headed girl came to the window, and asked what is exactly wrong with this kids meal?! We replied, it only has 5 fries in it. She said I weighed the fries myself and they were exactly 3 ounces and handed us the kids meal back. (On top of everything our wing meal had no sauce on the wings, it was all on the side in containers, after they asked, and we told them to put the sauce on the wings when we ordered. After the experience with the kids meal, we didn’t even say anything about the wings). No apologies, no nothing, and she walked away like we were bothering her. Today we stopped by again. The same girl that was rude last week was working the window this time. She gave us a large tea with styrofoam missing from the top of the cup and it spilled all over my hand as she handed it to me. I said it’s got a hole in it… she didn’t say anything, and threw it away. I told her I apologize for saying anything but last time we had a hole on the side of the cup and it went all over our car. She ignored me and didn’t say anything at all!! Then proceeded to hand us our food and new tea, then shut the window. No have a good day, Nothing. It’s definitely ruined our experience with this Zaxby’s location, after we were treated poorly twice in the last week by the same employee. Read moreFood was great but service has declined tremendously. Went through the drive-thru around 8:40pm and ordered 2 orders of egg rolls. Was told that they closed in 10 minutes (even though it was 8:40pm) and it was going to be an 8 minute wait. The lady over the speaker sounded pretty upset that I said I didnt mind waiting and placed my order. When I got the food, I asked if there was sauce in the bag and she said yes and she hurried and walked away. There was only one sauce in the bag for two orders so I drove back through the drive-thru to ask for another sauce. I waited at the speaker for a few minutes as I watched through the window multiple workers running around trying to hide and not saying anything through the speaker. It was not even 9pm yet and as I drove to the window after waiting a few minutes at the speaker and no one saying anything, they rushed to turn the lights off, locked the window, and everyone took off running. Yes, seriously running as I drove up. I sat at the window as three of the employees were standing around in the corner at what seemed like going back and forth with each other about who was going to come to the window. When one finally did, the first thing she told me was they were closed before I could even say anything. All I needed was another sauce but was told they didn't have any more. (I feel like I should've been advised of that when I placed the order and wouldn't have placed it). Seems like they were all in a rush to get out of there before closing time and did not care one bit about customer satisfaction or getting business.
