So a terrible thing happened Friday. Amy lost the diamond on her engagement ring at our favorite brewhouse Rails End. She was playing with a young pittie, but didn't notice until she got back to our table. We looked, didn't see it, must have fallen through the deck boards. So it was a little heart breaking, but Amy and I have had struggles before. We have each other and stuff is stuff (even really sentimental stuff is still stuff). Saddened we went home. We told Rails End owner Dale about it in case anyone found it and turned it in. Dale being the wonderful man that he is, offered to let us take apart his deck on Monday morning to look for it. So yesterday we were there early removing deck boards. Three big boards out,, and we didn't see anything. Dale was willing to let us keep going. On my hands and knees going by feel, I found it under some dust right were Amy was with that dog. Miracles do happen, a little bit of sunshine on a dark day. The Best part wasn't that Dale let us take apart his deck, it was that he did it with a smile and was genuinely happy when we found it. my buddy Lou showed up to help look, and helped put the deck back together. One side note on Friday after it was lost another friend "Bubba" offered to give me $1000 toward replacing the diamond for Amy. Luckily it should be covered by insurance, but the offer really touched our hearts. These are the people we've met at Rails, the kinds of beer drinker customers that Dale attracts. This is why we go there. So if you're having a rough time, don't lose faith good things do happen...
Read moreRails End in Broomfield is where we found ourselves for this weeks "Foam Friday". A hidden gem tucked away just off 120th and Main Street. From a fantastic patio to a great tap room inside with lots of great seating and bar space this place has it all. One of the best parts about this place was the people. Lots of great people in the community who support this place week after week and a great sense of community. The beer was fantastic from their Piñata Party Mexican Lager to the Bananarama Hefeweizen to the many other types of beer they offer. You can't go wrong with any of their selections. They have a great selection of food trucks throughout the week and overall just a really great brewery. If you are ever in the area make sure to check it out. Their motto is Dam Good Beer and they are not wrong. . . . . . . #michelrealestate #kylesellscolorado #remax #remaxagent #brewery #beer #local #localbusiness #colorado #coloradoowned #brewing #railsend #denver #broomfield...
Read moreI'm a Colorado native and I love exploring new breweries. I visited this place for the first time yesterday (Wed). Maybe not the best day to visit. No judgment here, but these are my honest observations: There was no parking, it was super crowded, and there were A LOT of kids. Probably close to 20. Not that it bothers me but these kids were running around bumping into chairs, people, splashing water (one found a water hose? Lmao) it was just chaos. I watched some guy let his 6 year old son close his bar tab. Seriously? Lol most everyone there was close to sloppppy drunk-- like...Probably shouldn't be served anymore. Service was slow but friendly. The blood orange DIPA & Porter are good but pricey, six fifty for like a 10 oz? Hmmm. The outside patio is nice, but bc they mist it and it's hot out, lots of mosquitos. The location is obscure (industrial area) but maybe that's good bc of noise. Overall, this place was decent just not my vibe. I probably...
