This is the best pho I have found so far NW of Denver. Probably the best pho restaurant that doesn't have a Federal address. Good portions and quality ingredients. We eat here often, so I have tried the entire range of menu items. Everything is better than average to very good. I would take my parents here and not be embarrassed.
Bad service is the hallmark of a good Vietnamese restaurant. There's one waitress that is very attentive and that just weirds me out. Everyone else appropriately ignores you unless you actively try to get their attention. Feels like home.
For reference, I won't eat at any pho place that offers vegan or even vegetarian pho. Vermicelli bowls can be vegetarian, but not pho because the broth is made from oxtails. I also won't eat pho that has a strong licorice odor. That pretty much rules out every pho restaurant south of Denver. I grew up in SW Houston near Bellaire blvd and my parents still live there. If you recognize that street then you know that I have eaten at a lot of pho places...
Read moreI've been at this restaurant a few times but today will be my last. I go eat here today with my friend, when we ordered our food. a different server gave us our food but we told him it was wrong and he said he'll go change it. But our other server heard and told us this is what we ordered, but I tell him we not order this one. He get mad and blaming us that it is our fault. He started yelling and using loud voice and do the face very upset of us. This was a wrong way to handle this. I know when you do customer service it can be hard at times but this was unprofessional. He was the one to take our order wrong and he should've apologize to the customer and instead of blaming them. You shouldn't do customer service if you are like this because it makes the restaurant look bad and makes the customer not...
Read moreWe visited this place twice. Yesterday was the last time for good. The food was all right the first time couple of months ago. However, the waiter spilled a significant amount of soup on my new shoes last night. He pretended that nothing happened and that he has not seen anything. When we complained to his colleague, he just stared at us and said "what can I do?". He didn't show any sign of will to help or to try at least to make things up a bit. When we asked him to call the manager, he claimed that he was absent. Another waiter brought the towel at least and helped me to partially dry my shoes. In conclusion, the food can eventually be good, but the customer service was nothing to write home about. Watch your shoes and dress, if you'll eat...
