I feel I need to start my pho reviews with a general statement... I am the authority on good pho. 95% of people that put Google reviews are clueless. Some people take football serious... some baseball... others stamp collecting. I take pho seriously. Here is the proper review for this pho. I had the tai/chin pho combination. If you don't know what that is go look it up. First the good. They have ample parking and a good number of seats. Service was super quick and efficient. The portion size for $14.95 (large) is very very good. Easily above average portion size. Very good Hoison and Sriracha bottles with large clog free openings. The Ok... Meat portion size is adequate but not outstanding. I would have preferred to see more onion in it as well but it was passable. Proper noodle amount for size of bowl. The disappointing... the broth. It was light and had minimal pho flavor. I couldn't taste cinnamon or cloves or any hint of traditional pho flavor. If it was in there it needs to be more. Maybe they do this to appease the tastes of the average pho clueless Denver customer and if so I do not approve. Conclusions.... this place is fine for pho. But anyone leaving reviews and claiming its spectacular or the best they had just simply is not an expert... period. The broth falls very short which is a shame because they do other things very well. If it weren't for the portion size it would be rated a 3 out of 5. Just just understand what I'm saying. This is a good feed place... not an award winning place what so ever simply because the broth is flat. If they can figure out the broth and improve some of the in soup garnish... they'd be 5 star. Until then they can not be considered anywhere near the Pho hall of fame.

I placed a take out order for an entree and two three color bean desserts which I was looking forward to eating; but instead I ended up tossing it in the trash. Why?? Because when I questioned why my three color bean dessert looked the way it did, the person at the counter (young guy) didn’t like the fact I questioned why the three color bean dessert should looked the way it did. Well for start, I’m a long time customer for over 20+ years and always get this dessert every time I come in and two, I know what this dessert should look like. If it’s bc you’ve run out of certain ingredients then I would appreciate you letting me know in advance instead of making an unprofessional statement such as “why are you questioning what our three color bean dessert should look like as this is my restaurant?” And then you get irate and throw a tantrum about it in front of me and your other employees. It’s such a shame this happened to me today. You think your restaurant is top notched and no one is allowed to question you?? How about listen to your customer next time and learn to resolve issues professionally without throwing a tantrum and tossing out curse words underneath your breath and letting your customer hear all the commotion from the kitchen area. What a waste of time and money that was!!

After having a not-so-great experience with the Pho in Boulder, my friends and I were a little worried about giving the Vietnamese food scene in Colorado another chance. Thankfully, Pho Duy has saved the day! This restaurant is located next to the Great Wall Supermarket so there's plenty of space for parking as well as an opportunity to do some grocery shopping :) My friends and I ordered the following: - Cafe Su Da After a long night of going out, this was a great way to wake us up haha. It was definitely on the sweeter side but the dark-roast coffee flavor was still there! - Goi Cuon Tom Thit The spring rolls were fresh and the peanut dipping sauce was nice and salty. - Pho Tai, Nam, Sach The soup/broth was hot, savory, and flavorful- definitely helped revive my friends and I. The noodles and meat were good. The only thing I wish they did differently is the amount of tripe they provided- there was maybe a couple small strands but that was it. Aside from that, I really appreciate how they provided the Nuoc Beo which enhanced the savory flavor of the broth! Overall, I'm glad we got to try some good Vietnamese food in Colorado! Not to mention, our server was welcoming, kind, and had great energy! Thank you, chú!

At first I was very excited to try a new place other than my usual go to, especially after reading about their amazing reviews. Not only that but they offer vegetable broth pho as well and I’ve had trouble finding places that offer that. When we arrived we were left standing not knowing whether to seat ourselves or if we get seated. Finally someone from across the room just pointed to us and then pointed to a table. Our server was a very rude middle aged man (Didn’t get his name) and kept interrupting while I was asking questions about the menu and wouldn’t let me speak. When I was asking about their boba tea and if I can get that with either almond or soy milk, he interrupted again, in the middle of my question and said almond while walking away. I didn’t even get to pick the flavor I wanted he straight up just walked away in the middle of an order/question. I brushed that off and assumed that he took it as almond flavor boba with soy milk, which would be okay since I’m a fan of almond. The waiter came back to ask if I wanted whip cream with my boba ( I thought that was really nice) and told him no whip cream. When he returned with my boba it was covered in whip cream, right after he just came to ask me whether I wanted that or not and I clearly answered NO. I also brushed that off and decided I will just take that to my father in law. Next came our pho, which was delicious by the way, but we couldn’t enjoy it until after we tried to flag down other servers because we were not given any dining utensils. For the rest of our meal our server never came back to check if we needed anything. Lastly The last stare was when we were leaving, our same server was behind us telling us to “hurry hurry out of here” I turned around and asked him “what?” And he just started to giggle and say”never mind”. Needless to say I’m never coming back to this place, never had such poor service and never have felt so rushed to leave. I’m not one to complain but this experience topped the cake. The only reason I rated one star is for the great pho, other than that I would give a zero star rating. Would...
