White Castle — Restaurant in Brownsburg

I grew up with a White Castle on my corner, I always thought they prided their self on customer service the restaurant being clean making the food fresh and hot, well....this is not true for the White Castle in brownsburg Indiana! I live over an hour away, so needless to say I don't go to White Castle as much as people would when it's closer to them. So coming from a long trip today back towards my home we stopped at the White Castle in brownsburg Indiana

Noticed on the app there was a $5 special for the crispy chicken combo And then I also asked for the fish combo and make it large so when you say that to me that's means the whole combos large for the fish combo l.

The lady at the register was not very polite was a little rude. The manager had to come over a couple times show her what to do especially about the $5 meal combo. finally got my food come to find out she only gave me a large Coke and charged me extra for it and not the large combo meal like I requested

Tried to go back up there and she started to argue with me and tell me no you just said a large Coke, so after a couple minutes the manager come up and said never mind just I'll make your large fry but that didn't State the fact that I was still getting charged extra when I looked at my receipt I realized not only did she charge me for the $5 chicken combo but she added extra chicken extra fries on to that combo which doesn't make no sense I got to my car I realized this then I realized the fries were soaked in grease cold as can be the food was not prepared as we asked come by this time I just said forget it and called corporate Never once have I ever had a bad experience at any White Castle, no matter the location!! this is a shameful representation of a White Castle that I grew up!! not the same as it was!! shameful !! When you're paying this much money for a little amount of food at least they can do is make the food fresh and not argue with you over a stupid combo that should have been large when she gave me small then charge me for stupid stuff that's not...

I hadn't been to white castle in quite some time. I passed through Anderson awhile back and hit one, but I only go about 1-2 times per year. I love their food, but I try not to do fast food too often (and White Castle doesn't settle that great...but I still love it!).

Anyway, I stopped just after 11pm at the Brownsburg location on the way home from work. As soon as I pulled up to the drive-thru speaker and heard Christine, I was blown away. Her friendliness and cheeriness was totally unexpected! I hate to say it, but I have low expectations, especially with the younger generation and at late night drive-thru's. Christina proved there are still amazing people out there to prove many of my past experiences wrong.

When I pulled around to the window, I could tell from the huge smile that this was Christina. Her attitude was so positive that it came through the speaker and was even more evident at the window. As I praised her service and my appreciation of it, she was quick to share the fact that someone else there was just as nice, and she was! Kyria (the i is silent) was very kind and helpful as well.

I'm in the management/customer service arena, so I am always taking note of what type of service I experience. This experience was excellent and definitely deserves to be praised. Keep up the great work ladies. You are an asset to White Castle, and I hope they appreciate you.

By the way, I tried the Shrimp Nibblers. How can friend shrimp be bad! I really liked them. And the cocktail sauce, well, it had some zing. I'm not huge into spicy but, and it was spicier than I expected. Not a bad thing, but an...

Drive-thru service only due to COVID-19 and it seems as if the employees at this location are taking advantage of the fact that customers can only order and go! Shame on the young boy at the drive through as if I'm part of his circle of friends. "Yeah what do you want" coming from the drive up speaker. After getting to the window and requesting ketchup I get "what you says" eyes popping out as I repeat the request again. Not a word just pushes his hand out the 1/2 covered window with 3 ketchup packages for a bag of fries. Ugh I hope this isn't a sign for the school system of Brownsburg or the lazy management. Little more customer service can go a long way! No salt on the fries and no seasoning on the burgers worse WC I've had...
