Read moreTL;DR: Fun experience and I recommend it but there were some minor issues
The food and drinks are very good, and they have a lot of options. The service was generally good, the employee that took our orders was very nice, but they put the entire tableâs food and drinks on one tab, and none of us have the money to afford paying for everyone, so I had to work out with one of the employees what all me and my partner got and pay for that separately. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfy feeling, and they even let people stay after close to continue playing games, however, theyâre incredibly inconsistent and convoluted with how long after youâre allowed to stay. One of my good friends had told me about B&Bâs before I had ever gone, saying him and his other friend were able to stay until 2 am before leaving, but when we went and were finishing up our last game at 12 am, we were told very bluntly to leave and that they were closed. I donât normally stay in a business longer than 10 minutes until close, but with how B&Bâs was described to me, and the multiple other customers staying after, I thought we were fine to finish up our game. All in all I do actually recommend you check out Books&Brews, I just wish theyâd give people like a heads up ahead of time to let customers know theyâre trying to close up, because theyâre very...
Read moreI really love this place, but I can only give it 4 stars. I go there weekly for their trivia, I ended up doing better than I expect. They always have new and interesting drinks, and will always let you sample them before you buy a drink, which is nice. The staff is pretty friendly and the atmosphere is always fun. People are always happy and having a good time. You can host DnD games there, if you're a player, and the DM gets a free meal if you do. Being a DM, I've thought about hosting there, but the place can get a bit loud and distracting for that. My only real complaint is the service. They will come to your table after you arrive, and you better be ready because you very well could go without seeing them again for 20 mins or more. They tend to focus on the bigger tables rather than everyone which is very annoying, and the only reason they don't get 5 stars for me. It's a very small place and there is no excuse for them to be so slow with their service. But other than that, it's a great place to hang out and have a drink. But please, do it responsibility to make sure you and everyone else...
