When the company false advertises then employees laugh at the customer, you know this isn't going to be a nice review!
First the false advertising. They have Drive Thru on their front sign, then refuse to give you your pre-ordered food through the drive though. You have to come inside to get your food. Oh the Drive Thru is on a easily customizable letter sign. So it's not permanently painted. I could be removed in 5 minutes IF THEY WANTED TO.
Then I come inside, employees appeared to be ready for me to be angry, but I held back, trying to ask politely how long has the drive thru been closed, as I was paying for my food. (BTW, it was open last time I was there) "ha ha... its been closed for a while. We can't see people in the drive thru." Then more laughing with employee #2 joining in on the supposedly funny joke. I just looked them in the eye and said "I see nothing funny about this. Tell you boss you just lost another customer".
I am disabled. Can I come inside? Yes, but it physically hurts to do so! So I prefer using establishments with a drive thru or curbside delivery. I tip appropriately high for this convenience. (of course I did not this trip).
Oh to the person (manager?) who finally asked through the glass in the drive thru "Can you get out of the car??" Yes I got into the car, I can get out of it. The better question is, are you disabled, or does getting out of the car hurt you?
In my case, If you permanently close the drive thru and remove it from your sign, I would have probably remained a customer, though I probably wouldn't have continued ordering as often as we did (3-4 times month). But arbitrarily closing the drive thru, then having multiple employees LAUGH at me while I'm in pain, is a great way to lose a very long...
Read moreI've been coming here for years. The food is good and prices are fair. "But lately somethings changed and it ain't hard to define" - sorry Rick Springfield... this place now charges you 4% when you pay with plastic. That is short sided greedy bullshit. Companies have always had to pay credit card processing fees, but now there is a new trend of businesses trying to pass on this cost of doing business to their customers - which I object to. You gonna make me pay your electricity bill too? What about your water bill? This is a bad trend - and further - most businesses can get processing rates for credit card transactions at or below 2% if they shop around, and debit transactions often cost around .50 if they use their pin number for debit instead of credit. So therefore these greedy stupid business owners are actually charging so much they are trying to profit from you using a credit card! If it costs them 2% and they charge you more - that is a profit - and they are claiming to cover their "expense" !! Which is a cost of doing business !! So it is a lie and an excuse simultaneously. Well I won't dine here anymore. There are lots of restaurants. You don't have a monopoly. And I will do the same to other businesses that try to pull this stupidity on me. Any business owner doing this is short sided and greedy and dumb. This practice was always banned by Visa and Mastercard until a federal court case circa 2010 forced them to stop preventing businesses from doing this. Too bad. Another poorly considered court case hurting regular people in favor of greedy...
Read moreDO NOT ORDER TAKE OUT FROM HERE
TLDR: They don’t use food safe containers and will blame you for order mistakes. Hot food put in styrofoam containers with no aluminum foil. My food had melted styrofoam beneath it. Called restaurant and manager (Freddy) blamed me, gave me attitude and hung up.
I was looking forward to trying this restaurant based on reviews, and ordered a good amount of food. After I picked it up I noticed the order was all placed in styrofoam containers without any aluminum foil for the hot foods (crepes, etc) but didn’t think anything of it. Noticed as I was eating that the crepes container had a sizzled heat line directly beneath the food.
I contacting the restaurant to inform them of the issue I was treated with disrespect, I was blamed and was hung up on by the manager. Literally was made to cry how much I was gaslit (terrible word I know, but the manager knew what he said).
I was so considerate and patient, but from the jump Freddy (manager) blamed me for this issue saying it was on me and my fault?
I don’t believe this restaurant has any food safe knowledge for take out, and can only imagine what it’s like for dine in. This is not how you treat customers, especially when they’re being polite, kind and trying to support you!
Review on actual taste- average crepe not worth the price...
