HotBox Pizza — Restaurant in Brownsburg

We have always liked Hot Box and generally everything goes well with their service. However, if it is a holiday involving high volume pizza production, then i will stay away from Hot Box in the future. I called in on Halloween craving a pizza. Someone answered the phone started to take my order then put me on hold then they hung up. I called back immediately was put on hold for about 15 minutes. I called back a third time and was immediately put on hold again. I hung up. Called Panoonys and they took my order immediately. We discovered Panoonies that night because I felt neglected by Hot Box. The next few pizzas were from Panoonies. Great service and delicious! What I am saying is that Hot Box is a good chain with good pizza and great bread sticks. However, when you answer the phone on busy nights please consider the customer on the other end of the line. Placed order 4hrs ago and call store and they have no idea. My order number ment nothing to them. What I ordered ment nothing. Manager didn’t try to offer solution and get my order reordered and solve issue. He said he would call store owner and got off the phone with me without asking for my name and number. This is a horrible experience especially when you were expiring to have dinner delivered before the pacers game. I ordered when I did because I got a email saying the pacers game cups were almost gone. So I placed order at 4:25pm and asked to be delivered at 7:30. When I called at 7:40 I was expecting to hear it’s on way but running behind but never that they had no clue about my order and online ordering ahead of time with a ticket number means nothing to them and they have no way of tracking order with that order number. Why even have he system in place and why not offer me some kind of service when I called....

For the last 8 years I have had Donatos deliver a pretty sizeable order to one of my customers just outside of Brownsburg. This year for whatever reason they decided that because my customer was located “outside” of their standard delivery zone they would not make the delivery. I called the Hotbox in Brownsburg and Brandon answered the phone. I explained my situation to him and asked if they would make an acception for me and deliver outside of their typical delivery area to help me out, without hesitation Brandon agreed. My order needed to be separated into 4 different orders by building. Brandon was more than happy to help divide the orders perfectly.
