Cicis Pizza — Restaurant in Brownsville

To best gauge this restaurant lets understanding its a 'Discount Pizza Buffet', if you will, and the establishment is geared more towards the kids. Having said that, its a good place to take the kids & their friends out to grab an affordable bite of pizza. For the discerning pallet of the adult, you'll quickly notice the pizza cheese and toppings are severely, and questionably skimpy, but to be fair what would you expect for an all-you-ca-eat for about $5?! To counter the thin topping of cheese, we'd recommend to grab 3 pizzas, skin the cheese/toppings off the first 2 and slap them on the remaining pizza to make yourself a legitimate pizza slice. The game room is limited on games but at least their is some kind of entertainment. (Be forewarned though, if the games eat up your quarters and fail to provide you a game in return... The GameRoom is a "Play at Your Own Risk" GameRoom. But C'mon, at $5 per buffet... we can give'em a brake.) In sum, the upgrade to Cici's Pizza would be Gatti's Pizza where the pizza is superior and so is the gaming area, although you will pay the difference (almost double the price). Food was cold, so I ordered to make a fresh pizza. It was not tasty. Soup was very salty. At least when they making the soup needs to taste it before serving.

There is no price list in the billing area. I don’t know why they are charged me $6.99 for each kids buffet. Everywhere $5.99 including the drinks for kids buffet.

Also I noticed that in the drink section Lemonade was not available, then I took sprite from the machine and taste it. It was not a sprite. Just a plain soda. I told this matter to one of the employee and he told me Sprite flavors are out of stock. Two mains drinks are not available (Lemonade and Sprite)

I don’t like any other sodas. Then I don’t know why they are charged me for sodas.

If it’s out of stock as a customer should be needs to tell us before charging me or need to serve bottled sodas. This place is horrible.

When I was eating one of the Hispanic lady came to this restaurant and selling her own masala fruits to the Cicis customers. She asked me to buy her fruits pack. That Hispanic lady is not an employee for Cicis but by the way of talking I understand she knows all this Cicis employees well. I don’t think Cicis chain service is allowing these type of selling inside...

Arriving to the place, we saw a small amount of crowd. It took 5 minutes for people to charge us. I could see in the kitchen people laughing and joking around. A child ran to the back area, I assumed was a child of one of the workers. I asked to order a specialty pizza and they took my order which was never came out. After waiting 30 minutes, I asked for my order. A worker said that it had come out but they didn’t know the name of the order so they were going to try to make another one. I was with 2 other people and we all kept looking out for my pizza. I ended up telling them to not make it again mainly due to the fact that I was about to leave and saw no point in making it again. The workers in the back could be heard arguing with each other about making a pizza, where’s my pizza, and if nobody knew how to cut a pizza. The salad had empty or very little for a serving. The Alfredo sauce appeared grey and old. No one came to pick up our plates from our table. While waiting for my pizza.
