TORA — Restaurant in Brownsville

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. DONT COME HERE!! ITS NOT WORTH IT! STAFF IS RUDE FOOD IS BAD!!!! Everything was bad, we drove all the way to Brownsville for this. I decided to at least get 1 thing from the food menu (which I still regret till today) everything tasted like it was frozen Asian food, the ramen just tasted like egg. I have never been so disgusted by ramen in my life, we also had boba, and that was bad we got a strawberry milk one that was too sweet, and a fruit tea strawberry (I usually get peach tea with strawberry boba, but they didn’t have that or the menu was very limited on the boba) the strawberry milk tea just tasted like strawberry nesquick, my friend got jasmine tea and asked about the sweetness the staff was very rude and they looked annoyed at us asking for things or to be explained. She didn’t even explain the sweetness at all, and my friend got a low level, and it was so bitter, so my friend ordered a coffee, the one that’s on the pictures on the wall, idk the name. It was painfully sweet, and I love sweet coffee. Everything was bad from the drinks to the boa buns, ramen, and the Korean fried chicken. The only thing that was okay was the kimichi fries. I’ve been going for over a year once or twice a week from an hour away and I’m so excited every time I go, except for this lady. She is super rude. Not only towards me, my sister and best friend had issues with her too. She thought I couldn’t speak Spanish and was talking trash to her coworker about me because I order a drink without ice and asked her nicely to re make it (in English ofc) and she started complaining about me. Yesterday I barely was walking in to the store and I barely put a foot inside and she yells that there’s no bubba available with not a nice tone. I just walked out right away. I love the place, the food and the manager is super sweet and my sister already made a complaint about this lady. I hope the manager takes this second complaint...

I give this place a 1 star because their customer service is honestly horrible. First when I first stepped in I didn’t get welcomed at all, all I got was a look and the 2 girls who work there just continued bad talk about one of their coworkers. I stood at the cash register for 2 minutes and they were right in front of me but bad mouthing one of their coworkers, so I just used the digital menu or whatever those things are called. Then when they got the order one of the girls gave a nasty look. As the first time coming here it was horrible even got the taro milk tea and it tasted watered down??
