Ordered a cake for my husband’s birthday, and was extremely impressed with the quality and taste. I had to pick up the cake a day early because we were going to celebrate him at an early time the following day, and I didn’t want to be rushing. I was worried that the cake might be dry because I left it out on the counter overnight, but that was not the case. The cake was extremely moist. I loved the way it was decorated, and it was so delicious. The guests loved it as well, and people commented that it was one of the best cakes they had ever had at a gathering. We got several cupcakes and I can confirm that the carrot cake was boxed. You can tell by the carrot pieces right away, to top it off they were all super dry!. I couldn’t confirm the others where boxed but the carrot cupcake you can tell. We spent $3.00 for a cupcake that came from a box and the box cost $1.00. If your going to sell boxed cake to make more commission at least make it right. I was super disappointed... I will forever stick to happiness cupcakes in weslaco. A very homey experience. The cupcakes are the cutest and take you back to your inner child (if you're an adult like me but perfect when bringing kids!) They're simple in flavor but very much worth it when you're craving a last minute treat. The staff is extremely friendly, you can eat in the store, or take home in a very convenient container.
