Didn’t have the picanha that we ordered, my wife wanted an old fashioned and all they offered was jim beam black not woodford or any other premium bourbon, ok not too bad there but then we decided to order 12oz ribeye and the mahi mahi dish, ribeye came with option of fries or salad, we couldn’t substitute the fries for truffle fries they had to charge full price for the extra side, ribeye was served well done when we had asked for medium rare mind you the dish was $25 , we sent it back but still received a thin steak grayish in color not seared properly and super thin like steaks you would get from Bonanza, for those that remember that restaurant, not seasoned, not hot, very bad presentation not appetizing, fries were steak fries not truffle fries which we were paying $8 extra for, the other dish, mahi mahi with mushroom risotto was dry, no mushrooms and risotto was not creamy like it should be, tasted like reheated risotto, service was good no complaints there, but to pay over $100 , very disappointing, quality of food doesn’t justify the price, we have better steaks at Chili’s, that’s not saying much, it’s a shame having to write this review because we’re passionate about supporting our local businesses but hopefully it can motivate them to make improvements otherwise don’t waste...
Read moreWe recently visited Fave Steakhouse and Hibachi with two other couples, and unfortunately, all of us walked away disappointed. While we were seated right away and the atmosphere was nice, the dining experience itself left a lot to be desired.
The hibachi side has only two grills and one cook, which meant over an hour wait just to get started. Not wanting to wait that long, we all opted to order from the steakhouse menu instead—another misstep.
My wife ordered the New York strip, which was overpriced, overcooked, and so tough it was nearly inedible. I had the ribeye tacos, and the meat was just as bad—bland, overdone, and chewy. Our friends had similar complaints with their meals, noting tough steaks and lackluster flavors across the board.
We also shared an order of truffle fries, hoping for a bright spot, but they tasted like plain fries with no trace of truffle oil or seasoning—just dry and forgettable.
Between all six of us, not one person had a good meal. For a place that charges premium prices, the food quality was simply unacceptable. It was a truly disappointing experience, and none of us plan to return. Would not recommend unless there are major...
