Wings and Rings — Restaurant in Brownsville

We had a party of 15+ we get there and we ask for tables to please be put together to accommodate us. We knew we had to wait. The ladies say it'll be about 30mins. 40 mins go by we check again they say they're only waiting for 1 more party to leave so we can have enough tables for our party. We go in to check 1 more time and they've given 1 of the tables we were gonna get, to a smaller party. The shift manager,Eric, is the reason why I'm giving service a 1star. He was sooo dismissive and did not care to even pretend to pay full atention. I honestly do not know why a persom like that gets to have the title of manager if he cant manage anything. He kept looking to the sides shaking his head "no" to the complaint of what had just happened..saying he couldn't do anything about it. After already being in our cars waiting 40 minutes for tables that were not provided for us we sat outside (if it had been my decisions I woulda left but we were there to celebrate a child who wanted to go there) brownsville tx on a late May evening is humid and hot. No one else was sitting outside for this reason. This Eric person NEVER came to check on the party. I asked our server what his name was and what the store manager's name was because I will call to complain about this person. She then goes back inside and I immediately knew she went to tell him which is what i was hoping for just to see if that would make him come outside and ask me what the problem was. All he did was shrug and shake his head again. Idk what he said to her. But never came outside. We were there for about 2 hours. Food was not great either, btw. Everything tasted as if the fridge where its stored is going out. It had a refrigerator taste (if u know what I mean). If you're reading this Eric, you're failing even as a shift manager at a wings restaurant. Do better. For anyone who, like myself, have never been here and is considering, just know that this restaurant has a manager, ERIC, who has horrible people skills and customer service.

I looked up this restaurant online before ordering, and the food choices/reviews looked great. However, the food was not what I was hoping for at all. So, the customer service from the two hostesses when I walked in was awesome! They were friendly, cordial, and welcoming. I ordered the Sweet Smokin Onion Rings, the Korean Shrimp, and the Classic Cobb Salad. The onion rings barbecue dust was "thrown" across the middle of the order of rings and even after putting them in the air fryer to add some heat once getting home with my meal did not help the taste. (See picture) The Korean Shrimp- it came with dry cabbage, not the coleslaw per the description, it came with 8 pieces, & they were cocktail size (so do not expect much/see picture). Then lastly; which was the saddest for me: the Classic Cobb Salad- I asked for the shaved Parmasen cheese instead of the Bleu cheese (I received dry grated Parmasen cheese), the lettuce was wilted and dry, the bacon looked very bad and not appealing to eat, and for the price this was really sad. * Always check your food before leaving** Everything went to the trash except for the Shrimp that my husband stated was good with the Korean sauce. I gotta start of by saying that I was blown away by how tender and delicious my boneless wings were when I went in today. The fries were good and so were the fries pickles. The boneless wings were pretty huge so a normal person would fill up pretty good with the 5 piece, because this place does get pretty expensive. Now I'm gonna get to the reason why I rated this 3 stars. Every star I gave this place is because of the food and how good it was. Everything else is just not so great. There were 2 other tables and our waiter came to check on us twice in the 45 minutes that we were there. When we walked in it smelled like sewage around the front counter and it smelled like restroom soap around the rest of the store. There were 3 bags of trash on the some of the booths near the back the entire time we were there. Our table was a little dirty even though they had just opened.
