I think I got scammed… I want to preface this by saying the food here is great, but I’m writing this incase anyone goes through the same situation with a particular employee. I ordered a take-out Shrimp Hibachi over the phone and my order came out to around $21. I rarely ever pay with cash but my boyfriend gave me $35 to pay with. I did not count my money when I gave it to the cashier (my mistake), but I didn’t give her all the cash I was carrying, and I knew I had $35 in my wallet when I entered. The hostess asked me if I wanted my change back, but didn’t specify how much, and her tone gave the implication that it was almost nothing. After all I’ve worked retail for years and the only times I’ve ever asked/been asked that question was if the customer was owned literal PENNIES. So I said no not thinking much of it, I don’t like carrying small coins. When I arrived back home I had $5 cash remaining. She asked me if I wanted my change back when she owed me $9!!! And did NOT tell me she owed me $9.

In summary, ALWAYS ASK FOR YOUR CHANGE BACK HERE! I didn’t go back to the restaurant to figure it out because I thought I was much too at fault for it… but after talking it out with others I realized it was inappropriate for the hostess to ask me that/not specify the amount whenever she owed me so much. At all of my jobs I’ve always had to tell the customer the change they’re owed. I was getting a take out order so it made no sense that she would think of it as a tip. I think she asks that question to people like me who aren’t paying attention, and ends up pocketing the money as “tips”. Even though she did nothing to serve me because it...

This place is a step above gas station sushi. Let me explain why... First, when we called in our order the lady who took it was very rude. She told us they didn't have items when we asked for them to be added to our sushi rolls. They did, we just had to say it in another way for them to understand. Which is the exact reason why they're getting two stars instead of only one. They were able to accommodate our extras added to the sushi. It was done in 15 minutes however when I got there to pick it up, I walked in and felt like they were more confused than I was when I said that I was picking up food. Nothing kind or warming about there greeting. Now, onto the food, very little taste. The house salad is a joke, it is literally lettuce with a little bit of dressing that has no flavor. As you can see in the picture, it is not worth $2.75. The sushi was of decent flavor( when I say decent I am comparing to it's lower gas station counterpart), however it fell apart on pickup, rice didn't even stay on the seaweed from the outside, they are extremely small size sushi rolls for the price and I don't know if I will get sick from it or not. If you needed a picture of the sushi for me to show you, just think about the effort in the salad and imagine it in sushi form. There are definitely better places in the Brunswick area. Waste of...

I usually like this place I don't have any complaints because everybody has their days but since I'm posting I usually get what they call a Eddie's special which is imitation crab meat bread and tempura batter with some kind of sauce on top of it it's $5 and it takes less than 5 minutes to cook but the other day I went to buy 2 Eddie's specials and I didn't even have to wait 5 minutes and they brought it right to me I was disappointed because of course when I got to the car I wanted to dig in and get a bite it was cold I've never experienced that but what I'm assuming it happened is they made several orders 5 minutes before I came and that's what they gave me not saying that it was old or anything like that but something like that you kind of don't want to put in the microwave so that's it that's all other than that I usually get great service and hot...

This place was something that looked small (attached to a strip of businesses) and probably not a place I would’ve initially been attracted to had a local not suggested it. The inside was small, but the wait was not long and was worth it. There was plenty of outdoor seating available, but we wanted to stay inside, so we chose to wait. They brought out soup and Eddie’s special (crabstick & cream cheese) complementary. I’ve been craving Eddie special ever since we went there. The sushi rolls (Tampa & volcano) and teriyaki chicken were also great. Great service. If I lived in the area, I’d be there weekly!!

So, I have mainly been going to the location on St Simons, but I was in the area, so I stopped here for lunch the other day. I was very happy to see that the level of quality and the food was just as good as the other location. I sat outside because they were busy and there were no inside tables available, and even the bar counter was full. I stuck with my usual, the lucky Dragon roll and spicy crab salad. Both were delicious and so was the complimentary portion of the Eddy Special roll!
