McDonald's — Restaurant in Brunswick

I’m not sure who the “ manager “ of this facility is, but how yall acted tonight was absolutely insane. Myself and 10 cars are sitting in the McDonald’s line expecting to order. I pull up to the order microphone. Nothing. Myself and a few other people pull up to the payment window and the employees inside pretend to not see us. Finally, a guy comes to the window and tells me “they are closed” because no one wanted to work and their manager told them to close down. mind you, it was 10:15 and they do not close til 11pm. I do respect this guy for at least saying something instead of avoiding the customers who are confused and just wanted to order some food. There was a young man behind me in line asking what was going on because he had a DoorDash order to pick up that he was unable to get because the employees didn’t want to open up the window and communicate. It’s one thing to close down early, but a whole other thing to not have the decency to explain to the customers that yall are closing down early for the night. It’s not even the fact that they decided to close down early, no one enjoys working late. But at least be a decent employee and put a sign up or open up the window and communicate with customers. I’m not the type of person to leave reviews, especially negative ones, but im doing this hoping that this reaches the right person, hopefully the person who is actually in charge, because your “manager” needs to be...

Pull into the parking lot and parked. My daughter had to use the restroom really bad. We had an hour drive on the way to the hospital our grandmother had been transported to. We went to both entrances where there was no sign on the door other than the hours of operation. On the second attempt of knocking we were met at the door by a janitorial worker that was mopping. He cracked to door and told us that we would have to use the drive through. I told him my dàughter had to use the restroom And he said "no, can't let no one in!". And shut the door. We went and got in the drive through to grab something for my grandmother. We were stuck in that line for 35 minutes!!!! For some fries???? I decided to get her some nuggets and fries when they told me a 10 piece nugget meal with a medium coke was almost $13.00 I was shocked!!!! But so aggrevated by then that I just got the money together and drove on to the window and paid. They were nice enough to buy at the second window gave us a small ice water and a bag. I asked about the coke and they quickly got it for us. On the way on to the hospital I started to question the price, the reason why at 11pm on a Saturday, they wouldn't let us in , the rude manner that the guy mopping gave us, and the extremely long wait, and finally the mixup with the order. (Review started being written at 1:19 AM) This is the absolute worst and most poorly managed McDonald's in the entire Brunswick area.

Firstly, they don't seem to be 24 hours (as I'm writing this review, I've been sitting in the drive through line for more than 5 minutes), and there are no indicators that they have altered hours.

Second, every single time I visit this one McDonald's, my order is wrong in some form or fashion. Remarkably, the staff can't seem to get a simple Big Mac meal order correct (I ordered it as it appears on the menu except with no onions, and still got a haphazardly thrown together burger with onions).

Third, the management demonstrably does not care about the standards at this restaurant, seeing as the outrageous amount of 1 star reviews has yielded absolutely no changes in how the store is managed. I've called several times when my order was wrong and nothing has changed.

If you can help it, do not choose this McDonald's. Choose the one on Hwy 17. It's a bit out of the way, but at least they have the decency to answer the drive thru intercom and acknowledge me before waiting in line for 10 minutes with...
