El Potro Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Brunswick

This was my first experience with El Potro. It was recommended by a friend who manages a restaurant offering different cuisine. Let's begin... The salsa was little more than chunky V-8 Juice. Not bad. Simply watery. The guacamole was fresh and tasted absolutely delicious. I had the Burrito Grande along with a Chile Rellenó. The burrito lived up to its name and was huge and filling. it was lackluster, at best. If not for the abundance of green peppers and melted cheese, it would have been void of any real flavor. The Chile Relleno was delicious. It had a particular spice or seasoning that made it tantalizing to the pallet. A pity only a cheese option was available. Or, at least offered. With meat inside it could well be among the best Brunswick...

We have ate it this restaurant many years. But the last five times we went it hasn't been the same they act like they don't understand English. And the waitress it's been there the entire time it's been open never comes to the table until there's a complaint. I don't want understand what changed I asked him if they got new owners and they said no and then I tried them again. But after this last visit I don't give him five stars anymore. Only two people ate there was five of us in the party two of us were drinking and they never came to the table after they took our order I paid $59 for two drinks and two meals and no refills on nothing because nobody ever came back to the table...

So my Mom and I have been here many times, it's one of our favorite places I have never had anything to complain about but this visit wasn't as great as others. The food is always excellent. But on this day the service wasn't. When we first got there there were only a few tables and we were greeted and seated and brought our drinks in a timely manner. Then it got busy and there was only one waitress. We had to ask twice for more chips and salsa, after finally getting to order and receiving the food we didn't get checked on.
