A Fresh Gem in Buckeye’s Historic Heart
Since its opening earlier this summer, The Heritage @ Old Town has quickly become one of our favorite spots in Buckeye. We've visited several times, and each experience has been consistently delightful. The staff radiates warmth—friendly, cheerful, and always on point with service.
Chef Kevin Barko’s menu is a celebration of fresh, locally sourced ingredients and inspired comfort food. For breakfast, the three-egg cheese omelet is perfectly fluffy and satisfying, while the English muffin egg sandwich hits all the right notes. Lunch favorites include the Chicago-style Reuben and the personal pepperoni pizza—both flavorful and generously portioned.
The atmosphere is upbeat and welcoming, with rustic charm and modern touches that make it feel both cozy and vibrant. One of the standout features is the presence of the owners, who are often mingling with guests, adding a personal and community-driven touch to the experience.
Buckeye is evolving rapidly from its agricultural roots into a thriving city, and The Heritage @ Old Town feels like a thoughtful nod to that journey—honoring tradition while embracing growth. It’s more than just a restaurant; it’s a symbol of the city’s heart and hospitality.
Highly recommended. Five stars...
Read moreThe Heritage @ Old Town is a beautiful new spot with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The space is thoughtfully designed—modern, charming, and perfect for a family breakfast to a casual lunch. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. Service was quick, attentive, and full of great menu recommendations. The smash burger is a standout—hearty, juicy, and served on a soft sesame seed bun with a special sauce that truly hits the mark. It’s comfort food done right. The chicken salad croissant was equally impressive—fresh, flavorful, and light, with just the right balance of texture and taste.
We’ll definitely be back. Buckeye needed something like this—local, delicious, and...
Read moreMy Granddaughter, Grandson, and myself went there today. The food when it was Cafe 2535 was great. My Granddaughter got a waffle with strawberries that tasted like the strawberries were cut with a knife just used to cut onions. My eggs ordered over easy were over hard done, got the wrong toast when there bought me the correct toast they were burnt the hashbrowns tasted like the ones you get in a box and hydrate them. They served the kids can soda no ice with the drinks. The service was the worst I've ever had. Food took to long to get you your food no salt or pepper at the table had to ask for it. The servers seem to just ignore us I ask for a second drink never got it. Music was so load we couldn't hear each other talk....
