I HAD A BUG IN MY BURRITO! It was late, and this seemed like one of the only places open in the immediate area. I went in, bought a carne asada burrito, and the employee, Karina was actually really nice. I got the burrito pretty fast and then left. Not even half an hour later I'm back at my friend's place and almost done with my burrito. I opened my second salsa cup to poor on my last couple bites, and while I'm pouring, a ladybug plops right on top of my burrito! ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING! That means the entire salsa I had before that point, and the salsa that every other customer consumed was contaminated by that disgusting insect carcass (and there are probably more!) So I go back to the restaurant, feeling so disgusted about what I had already eaten, with the burrito still in hand, and politely explain the situation and ask for a refund. The same employee, Karina tells me that she won't offer me a refund, because she doesn't believe the ladybug came from the salsa. Even more, she says she would believe me if it was a mosquito or a fly! So they're okay with having mosquitos and flys in their food, but not ladybugs? Incredibly ignorant statement. After she calls her manager, she continues to refuse a refund. After that, I said I would call the health inspector and she said she was calling the cops because she thought we were lying (a total waste of their time.) The cops arrive, and she tells them that she asked us to leave but we didn't (which she never said) and we are now banned from the restaurant for an entire year. So their idea of customer service is to deny any mistakes they may have made and then ban their paying customer so they can't complain about it anymore. I ask for my $7.53 back and they call the cops. Repulsive. All this for...

Pic looks messy because I dug 5 burritos out of the trash. We’ve been going here for years and this is by far the WORST experience and we will NEVER come back. 3 burritos with bacon and 2 without. One of them had bacon in it that was supposed to not. Whatever, we moved past it and the two people would just split the one that came without it. We couldn’t even do that, every single burrito had the most rock solid uncooked potatoes in them. So I called the place, to let them know and get my refund. They said ā€œall 5? Come bring them inā€ we live farther away and were there for a little league event. I explained that to them and their response was ā€œpeople do this all the time for the fun of it so our policy is no refund you can only bring them in and get new ones.ā€ I said, I’m not doing this for the fun of it. I’ve been coming here for 9 years, I can send you a picture of the burritos. Their answer was no. They just lost a regular. Horrible customer service and horrible policy. I get people might do it just for the refund, but as a reoccurring customer to be told that is so incredibly insulting. I wish it wasn’t such an inconvenience to get there because I would bring these 5 burritos that I dug from the trash and bring them right over. Horrible experience horrible...

Iv been coming here for the last 15 years. Not too bad but not great. Branded as a steakhouse they miss the mark entirely. Anytime iv order a steak medium-rare they tend to overcook it and present it well done. I tend to just order a california burrito but even the burritos are starting to taste bland. The potatoes are always overcooked and leaves the burrito with no flavor. Food has become meh over the years. The service has always been great though. The servers always treat people genuinely kind and respectful. They are open 24 hours which is nice when you work them odd shifts. They do have the benefit of call in pick up orders but sometimes tend to never even place the order which can be very frustrating. Not the best place to stop but also not the worst. Their salsa is great with chips and tends to get dumped on my food to give it some much needed flavoring. Their prices aren't horrible considering the portion sizes are massive. The only thing keeping this place in business is being open 24/7 and the fact that their is a bit of nostalgia for many...
