Don Patron — Restaurant in Buckhannon

Don Patron is a wonderful Mexican restaurant! I've been there three times now and each time has been a great experience with amazing food and service. We ordered creamy and coconutty Piña Coladas that were the drink special. Our free chips were warm and the salsa was fresh. We ordered the Carnitas en Chile Verde, Carnitas Patron, and the Quesabirria. The generous portions of pork tasted like it had been stewed all day, it was tender and delicious. The Birria was succulent and juicy, it was very authentic. Their side of beans were creamy and the rice was perfectly cooked. This is some of the best Mexican food I've ever had, and we moved here from Texas! I will return to them again and again until I try all the meats...

What a cute restaurant! So clean and bright and cheery. It breaks the mold from every other run of the mill Mexican eatery. The food was hot and delicious and huge portions. My mom & I split an entree and still had some left. The guacamole was so flavorful!! My only complaint here is that the bathrooms were super tiny and there’s no changing table so I had to change my baby out in the freezing...
