Ok so I wasn't sure what I was going to experience when I first arrived. I had been reading up on the reviews of this place for several days now and had already knew what my order would be. Upon entering the Whistle Stop, I notice a very quaint space with limited seating so I find myself at the corner of the bar. I was immediately greeted and asked if I would like a menu. I spent a couple minutes reading over it because it was a good sized selection. I started by ordering the Blue Moon Margarita (frozen) with the CBD gummies +1 extra gummy. The drink itself was rather bland and not what I was hoping for.
On to the food... as I stated, I had made up in my mind what I wanted before my travels. First, I ordered the Nacho Poppers, which are jalapeno poppers dressed up like nachos (salsa, cheese,...). Second, I ordered the loaded brisket fries. Now I had no idea this could feed a family of 4 and knew I was in trouble when I seen it. Third, were the lemon pepper dry rub wings (5) and finally the Nashville burger.
The taste... The poppers were what I was looking for. They were fresh so the breaded coating was crunchy, as well as the jalapeno, and the cream cheese was creamy. Very good flavor. The added beer cheese is a great addition.
The brisket fries were huge and did not disappoint. The brisket was very tender with the right amount of fat and barbecue. I could not finish. Bring someone with you.
The wings had a nice skin on them and the flavor popped out. Not overbearing but enough.
The Nashville burger was large and in charge. It's a legit 8oz (1/2lb) burger. This comes with your regular toppings with the addition of nashville hot fried pickles. Delicious!!!
Needless to say I did not finish every bite but every bite I had was worth the adventure. If I am ever in the area, I will revisit and I suggest you do as well.
Oh, the regulars were placing bets on me and another couple thought I was a food critic. Thats how much food it was. Check the...
Read moreThe whistle stop bar and grill is a place many people have come and gone from, however, it has remained my favorite place to enjoy good burgers, killer wings, awesome fries, and consistently friendly service. Theyâve been around a long time, and I hope they continue to be. Iâve shared many good experiences both at the bar, and at the table. Their wings are amazing, and made in house with custom sauces and flavors. Their burgers are 8 oz monsters with every topping you can think of. Their fries are well seasoned, crisp, and delicious. Donât even get me started on their godly wings. I once ordered a plate of BBQ pulled pork fries, maple bacon wings (yes, that means maple syrup and bacon), and an almost heaven burger, and finished it all in under an hour (photo attached for proof, ask around if you donât believe me.)
Final review: I give Whistle Stop 5 out of 5 stars because it deserves it. They continue to provide burgers of the week, fries of the week, and provide good service to the people in town. I hope they never go out...

She was wearing a hat, red shirt and pink strands in her hair. She was a little rude. We ordered anyways. She came back to tell us they only had 9 bone in wings. This is a Saturday night, not busy and 15 people in here. You would think they would have plenty of bone in wings stocked. Kept the 9 wings and ordered burnt ends and burgers. The wings you could not hardly eat extremely salty, the burnt ends were extremely tough, tasted microwaved and a couple days old. The best thing was the burgers, tender and juicy. We could not get a refill. Finally a different waitress with blonde hair came to our table to help. Iâm glad because the first waitress was very rude. I donât think this place would be my first choice to eat again due to the service of the first waitresses attitude but the...
