Today I went into Nina’s Waffles with my service dog who comes with me almost everywhere due to my disabilities. They were advertising Apple cider and Hot chocolate on a sign outside. I went inside with a group of friends and immediately got questioned about my service dog. What seemed to be the manager asked me for his ID, tags or documentation, and told that they are not allowed in the store without this. To this I offered to show her the ADA laws, but she continued to say that it’s what needed. I told her what she was asking for was actually illegal because under the ADA it clearly states: Q7. What questions can a covered entity's employees ask to determine if a dog is a service animal? A. In situations where it is not obvious that the dog is a service animal, staff may ask only two specific questions: (1) is the dog a service animal required because of a disability? and (2) what work or task has the dog been trained to perform? Staff are not allowed to request any documentation for the dog, require that the dog demonstrate its task, or inquire about the nature of the person's disability. My friends were then ALL denied Apple cider and hot chocolate because they were “out”, but our 2 friends who were not initially with us were given Apple cider and hot chocolate when they went in 3 minutes after us. I am completely appalled at their discrimination to the disabled and hope they can be better educated on the importance of service dogs for those with disabilities and basic laws.

We have been to this place in a different location which had lesser varieties to choose from. This location had more flavors and was more lively, given that it’s in peddlers village. We got a scoop of mad crack which was vanilla ice cream and had some nice crunchy bites of snacks which really made the ice-cream special. The ice cream quality was good and a small scoop was good enough for a person, as this ice-cream was a lil bit more on the sweeter side me and my husband could enjoy it in one single small scoop. Again I am disappointed that how come the two locations of Nina’s waffles we have been to did not hold any dark chocolate ice-creams , they had only plain milk chocolate. Hope they could add at least couple dark chocolate ice cream selection to their menu. Overall it was a nice place to have ice cream.

First time at a Nina's location, and I was very pleased. I had a regular sized cup with "Apple Pie" and "Triple Chocolate Pretzel". A very large portion for a tad over $5, and it tasted great. I was super impressed by the Apple Pie. It had great texture, cinnamon overtones, and apple taste. Loved it. The chocolate could have been near perfect if not for the pretzels, though. Seems just about impossible to put pretzels in ice cream without them having a stale texture, yet people keep trying. The chocolate base ice cream was super rich and dark, and I even liked what I think were brownie bits, but the pretzels fell short. Overall, though, I was pleasantly surprised and look forward to going back.

Great ice cream, terrible attitude. Went last week as we do whenever we’re in the area. Ironically, the younger teenagerish workers were very pleasant and courteous as they prepared my order but my daughter got a middle aged blond woman who was a total sourpuss. I don’t think she said a single word and had an annoyed expression the entire time’. Barely acknowledged her, acted annoyed to have to scoop a scoop of ice cream and put it on a waffle, did not say a literal word to her, barely looked at her and oozed an unpleasant dismissive attitude. After we paid we looked at each other and my daughter said, ‘wow that was weird right?’ If you work there and you’re that miserable, change jobs lady. And if you happen to be the owner, take a lesson from your employees. Ew. Ice cream...
