I have been going to Peddlers for a very long time. It's my favorite place to relax and unwind from work life. And the atmosphere brings on that summertime or even fall season feeling of, "Ya-know, I could really just go for a hot dog, I'm not in the mood for table service and I don't want to wait for a pizza." And I literally turned the corner and saw your sign and said “Omg Peddlers has hot dogs, and not just any hot dog Gourmet, which means fun toppings and great quality! When the gentleman asked if I wanted a well done or regular cooked hot dog. I knew this place understood, and I ordered it well done. I may not be able to eat a hot dog every day, but I don't have to, just everyone visiting there needs to have one! So that when I am in the mood for a tasty treat, on my next visit, which will be soon, I'll know you are in business and I will get to enjoy my next Top Dog Gourmet Hot Dog. [Because I plan on trying them all....just not all at once!] Thank you for adding to my cherished memories at Peddler's. I wish your business success and longevity at Peddlers Village! [ I don't typically write ratings and I'm pretty low-key on tech on purpose, so, I truly mean this review, Top Service...
Read moreMy husband and I had a nice day hiking near the River yesterday afternoon, decided this would be a nice spot to relax and have a quick bite on the way home. The owner was the only one working, it was Saturday evening at 6:35pm. When we got there, we instantly felt rushed to place an order. Our total was $20 and change for one plain regular hotdog, one moldy sharped cheddar cheese & old chili that had been hardened on top, one regular order of wayyy over cooked and totally oily tater tots and a 2 ounce cup of what was supposed to be cheese whiz but it had been stirred too much all day long to change it out and it was lumpy- totally unacceptable & a waste of over $7 bucks for a handful of takeout tot rots that went in the garbage. Get it together for your evening crowd if you have the nerve to upcharge. The buns used were also stale so I actually wish I had something...
Read moreI Forgot the name of my hot dog but it had Bacon, cheddar cheese, and some kind of sauce. I paid close to $11.00 for a regular size hot dog and a can of Coke. My dog could of been A LOT better. When my dog was served, the shredded cheese was ice cold.Like he pulled it out of a bag from the freezer and handed it to me.For $11, I was not happy. AND.....The guy who made it for me was not friendly. No, he wasn't rude, but no eye contact,no communication . For $11.00, he could of been better. I think he was the owner ! I could do better. No Italian hot dog on the menu ? Really ? Needless to say,I will not make that same mistake again . I will go to Rita's next door and buy a Gelati for $5. and feel I got my money's worth, not to mention the young...
